As Tom attempts to get some games going, he finds himself in the unfamiliar role role of playing heads up and attempts to make the most of it,

Good stuff. You seemed to keep up with it all much better than last time. I have to say, when I emply the 'how bad could it be' strategy, it never seems to generate as many folds, but people love to call in the lower stakes. Still, some interesting spots, and I liked the heads up stuff.

Enjoy the live format - way more content than your HH vids.

Would LOVE to see a PLO8 or FLO8 video. I love the high-low games, and I have a blast playing FLO8. I think every training site on the internet should have a mixed game instructor.

Thanks for the comment. Live format does seem to be popular so I'll probably stick with it for a while. If other people have suggestions, they're more than welcome to let me know - I'm happy to try and acommodate most ideas.

Nice video, but you played like a moron heads up, especially when you 3 bet called it off with AAQ10 against a tilting 40BB stack ;)

I never really played 0.25/0.5 PLO games, but I wonder if they can ever be profitable given the rake? Especially short games, there is so many all ins and the rake is big percentage of the pot every time and given that equities run so close, I think people are only paying the house pretty much right?

The rake is high, but it's more than beatable because most villains make so many huge mistakes. People like to talk about how hard it is, but in reality if you can't find a way to pull money off these tables the opponents in bigger games will pull you apart far worse than the rake in smaller ones.

28:06, why are you not raising a turned straight vs a guy with an AF of 1? He could have a worse straight couldn't he?

Or is the reason to flat, that you can valuebet with a weaker perceived range? (which I think is the worse option than getting called by 52 by raising the turn)

I can't really see many good reasons for the flat I made there and I'm not entirely sure why I did it. I say at the time, "can I see any good reason not to raise this?" and apparently clicked call despite giving no good answer to that question.

There's merit in having the occasional naked 57 here so we can show up OTR w/ the nuts when a blank rolls off and we've flatted, but I'd rather choose a naked 57 w/ an action blocker (aka card which makes it less likely someone will give me action - say the A heart or another 5). This is basically just a dumb fancy flat which achieved very little bar costing me money. So yeah, just a mistake on my part.

Debil means more or less instable/weak. I find the coach extremly irritating and more or less never funny and complaining about badbeats and bad luck like 25 times in the first 5 minutes but I guess it can be a matter of taste.
