Wanted to ask you if we can get in some of the future vids, 3 street barreling with various hands IP.
thanks :)
Tom Coldwell11 years, 9 months agoCertainly a possibility. Not certain that it would be an altogether wonderful video, but I'll take it into consideration when selecting future topics.
Why you think it wouldnt be wonderful vid? ANy plo subject is wonderful :-)
Tom Coldwell11 years, 9 months agoIt's just that most 3-barrel spots are because we flop strong and just fire off. If I do come across some cool 3-barrels I will put them up, although perhaps not in a video specifically about it.
Also, it's not really a component of a low-stakes player's game which I think they need to add. Very rarely will missing the 3rd barrel be the big mistake someone is making. However, a video on 2-barreling might be cool because the 2nd barrel is often very important (and missed a lot).
Nice video as usual Tom. One suggestion I have though is giving a little background info on specific reads you have on the villain before you get into the action of the hand. I think it helps develop a deeper understanding of the game if we're discussing optimal strategies against a specific style of player rather than just a generic 50nl villain.
Tom Coldwell11 years, 9 months agoExcellent point! I have certainly been neglecting reads and stats too much in these past few videos. Will make sure I improve on that in the future so thanks for pointing this out.

cool, 2nd barrel spots would indeed be a great subject :)
