Hi Todd, congratz for this video.

Here are a couple things I would like to mention:

First of all, please change your PP layout. How can you play on that? lol, it´s just too weird, at least from the viewers I guess would be easier :)

I really like the turbo tournament, there aren´t a lot of material about that and would be nice if you make more videos about it.

On 59o top left which you opened on the button, I know you are the chip leader, the blinds aren´t that deep as well, but don´t you think it is such a marginal hand, and you most of the time will lose more chips than just stealing? I mean, the blinds are just 60/120 no antes, you already have a great stack, I don´t think it is a big deal to just let this spot go and keep your chips to put more pressure when at least the antes enter in the game. Sometimes I just think the CL just are overagressive, a little more than they should. What do you think about it ?

Felipe,

Sorry you don't like my layout as much as Elio :( . I'll consider changing it in the future if it really bothers you guys, but I quite prefer it to the regular Party layout and most of these videos just come from random sessions I record. I'll keep it in mind tho.

Glad you like the turbos! I play a lot of them and feel like I have a good understanding of how they work. There are quite a few turbo tournaments that run daily and I'll be happy to include some of them in my videos.

I couldn't find the 95o hand for exact specifics, but I think it's the one where I get c/rd on 976 or something and get it in against T9. I completely agree that 95o is a very marginal hand that I would not open too often on the button. I opened pretty light from the button in this video in general and talked a little bit about how gameflow, table dynamics, individual reads, stack sizes, etc. can influence these ranges. I like to have a range of "swing hands" for most situations that I can play if I feel like the little things are working in my favour and fold if they aren't.

The one point I want to make is that the value in opening this hand doesn't just come from stealing the blinds. I believe the BB had 30bb's and played a hand a little goofy early in the video, so I thought it was possible that he was going to call too wide from the BB and then play poorly postflop. When you're opening into weaker players, not only will they be playing bad PF (not 3bing enough, peeling weak hands, folding too much), but they will be playing poorly postflop too and there are lots of ways to capitalize on this (v profitable barrels against predictable ranges, max value from strong hands, easy to pot control medium hands, etc.). In this situation I certainly wanted the blinds to fold, but didn't really mind if the BB (or SB) called, because I thought they would have trouble playing OOP postflop.

in general i like your videos. but i would prefer if you wouldn´t repeat yourself so often when talking about a specific hand. but nevertheless, good job and ty

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all of your comments. I just got back from a ski trip so I'm sorry for taking a little while to respond. Kerith, I agree that I was a little long-winded in this video and I will try to be a little more concise in the future, especially in the session review videos. I have done lots of coaching in the past, but am less familiar with making videos, so I appreciate your constructive criticism and your patience as I continue to get more familiar with video making in general.

Elio,

I am completely useless with computers and the only reason I have this layout on Party is because my friend set it up for me. It's a good one though, so I'll try to figure out a way to upload the layout, but I won't make any promises, because for me that's a lot easier said than done. I am less tech-savvy than most grandparents - I know, it's pathetic.

The video took a turn for the worse after this and I think I was only 1 or 2 tabling for a while so it's not really worth revisiting. Should have been clear about that at the end of this video, but the best of the footage is behind us.
