Emty uses a session at $25PLO on GG to focus on preflop and how small adjustments here can have downstream implications and big impacts to your bottom line.

2:30 table 1, if you had raised and been called by the btn instead, would your hand be a bet fold since it would be too hard to play in the check line?

13:00 table 2, if opponent does barrel turn, should he polarize and go.pot?

Thanks Emty!

Hey SoundSpeed ,

2:30:
Interesting question. If we were to have the BDFD, I think our hand probably plays quite ok in the check/call line. If we were to bet, we would also have to fold more equity against IPs raising range. With the particular suit combination at hand (suit blocker, no BDFD), I would certainly bet/fold in the shoes of UTG

13:00
We probably shouldnt have any raises on the Turn after our opponent bets the Flop and we call. Our range is just way too capped, not holding many top2 or set type of hands after we just call the Flop, while our opponent should hold a much higher proportion of these hand types.

Best,
Emty
