I'm really suprised at folding JJT7ds in the SB at the 19:00 mark. I really don't see JTT8 having that much more equity or even playablity for that matter to make it a 3bet. In my player pool at the same stakes JTT7ds is the nuts lol.
Hey BlastFiend !
It definitely does not make a huge difference in equity and EV comparing JTT7ds to JTT8ds, but there are still little gains in raw equity and EV. What we are basically looking for is the threshhold when a certain hand in the SB becomes a 3bet. I was pretty sure that JTT:(2-6):ds are clear folds SBvsBU and quite unsure about the JTT7ds.
Looking at solver outputs, we can see that JTT8ds actually gainst roughly 1000mchips in EV compared to JTT7ds, which makes the hand a clear 3bet whereas JTT7ds is pretty much borderline (-800mchip for 3betting vs -1000mchip for folding)
Sharp observation OTwenty :)
Not sure if I spotted that in-game and just spoke it out wrongly.
I think with a straight and some boat outs we clearly have a call here for at least 1 street which makes me think that I didn't recognize the straight. These were also my first attempts to comment footage in a live playing environment which is much harder than I initially thought.
Sorry for the bland response Emty lol, just commented while watching. Loved the format! I'd love to see you play more live, especially 50plo or higher!

The fold at the 31 minute mark is why I am terrible at PLO. I call with the oesd and 2nfd there all day. Thanks for the video and great job as usual!
