Hey rosebud !
Not for now. As you can see in the 3Bet-Series agenda at min 5:17 there is a clear structure for this series, where we will build up our knowledge from Preflop Ranges as part of our 3Bet Strategy to making the right Postflop decisions on different types of board textures. But Squeezing is definitely a topic I can look into once this series is done :)
Maybe you can create a new thread in the forums to post your questions.
I was wondering if this series can be applied to tournaments as I'm primarily a tournament player? And if not are there any videos/series on run it once that are dedicated to Omaha tourneys as all the videos/series in the tournament section seem to be for holdem.
Hey Gdez ,
First of all I would like to mention that my experience for tournament Poker is very little. I will still try to answer your question as good as possible.
Bringing this series into a context with tournament Poker, I think the content of this series is mostly applicable to the early game stages of a tournament when we are playing 100-200bb deep. Additional differences come into play regarding rake since our pots in tournaments are obviously not raked. As a result, fold equity Preflop will be minimized and Coldcalling, both in SBvsBU and BUvsBB, will become a much bigger part of our game.
Rychard Gryko does a lot of tournament content for PLO for the Elite Members of RIO. I am not really aware of tournament content for PLO at lower stakes but it might be something I could dive into in the far future.
Gdez I'd be a bit careful applying cash strategies to PLO tournaments. They are very different games. In cash the idea is to always take the most EV driven lines, where in tournaments chip EV and the best play are frequently not the same thing. Keep in mind the paradox of a PLO tournament where the simplest example I can think of is it's often simply correct to fold AAxx near the bubble due to how close equities run, your inability to protect your equity in the same way as NLH, and the value of chips.
the KK58ss is in your table of the bare minimum raising range and the KKTTss a flat in the Vision 48:13 so i guess this is the difference between the monker solver ranges which discount the co folding to anything so this becomes a raise?
Thanks,
Great job, I love the structure it is all clear and very easy to follow thank you. This could also be added to the Solve The puzzle course I think as there is no pre-flop which is a bit surprising :)

I really enjoyed this video, very nice structure!
The GTO 3Bet summary chart is also really helpful.
Looking forward to the next episodes!
Are you planning on producing a vid of this style for squeeze spots? Would be cool, I have a few questions after working through the spot on Streak.

Thanks for your reply Emty.
Would love to see some PLO tournament content in the future for the moment I'll apply what I can from your training.

I'm surprised to see KKTTss a flat but KK58 a 3bet. I would rank KKTTss much better then KK58ss
Hey Dodgyd2001,
It has been some time since I recorded this video. Which minute are you referring to? :)

Great video! I am working through your "From the Ground Up PLO" course and this video compliments your series very well.
Love your videos Emty some of the best content on RIO.
