Question 1 at 9:57
Bottom opens, we flat with J4ss. Flop AJ7cc. we check. Bottom c bet 63 into 55, why do you say it’s correct to use large sizing. What’s the benefit here using over bet instead of ½ pot ?
Question 2 at 17:42
We open KQhh sb flat with J52ccc. We min bet. What’s the min bet strategy on mono board if our opp does not check raising us ? What’s the plan on the turn if it’s another club vs a non club ? Thank you
Question 3 at 24:34
We open Q9. BB flat. Board is T783K on the river. We rolled 90. So we over bet shove 865 into 275. Do we only bluff this sizing like 10% of the time ? Do we have a non-all in over bet sizing in other frequencies ?
1:
I believe we like a larger sizing cause we have quite a few hands that want to get 2 big streets of value, and as we also have quite a bit of air, we won't be rangebetting, so we have a slightly more polar approach.
By using a bigger size we can also manipulate our opponents range to folding most gutshots.
2: Pool plays kinda passive on these monoboards that's why I prefer a minbet strategy.
In general I will mostly mix turn between 1/3 and 3/4. But your question is a bit too broad.
3: My turn mix was a little off I see, we are mostly supposed to overbet/X turn.
however bluffing river for a low freq AI (I estimated around 15-20%) seems fine.
But in the 3/4 turn size, river size is mostly 3/4 or 150%, after turn 150%, we see a bit more shoving, but still on this river, our AT/JJ/QQ/KJ type of hands want to go 3/4 so thats by far the most common size.
