Great video. At 24:35 you flat KQo rather than 3bet. I have been spending some time developing my 3bet range from the SB and I find difficulty in creating proper pure bluffs, semi bluffs and value hands.
Does it matter a lot if our opponent flats the 3bet a lot as opposed to 4betting a lot?
If our opponent here flatted a lot more than 4 betting, does the KQo become a value 3bet?
What is the cutoff for bways and higher cards when it comes to 3bet/ fold semibluffs? KTo? Q9o?
Thanks Sound. Your questions are very dependent on position and effective stack size. With this particular spot, I would be 3betting KQo more frequently if stacks were shallow enough (<30BB) for me to get in KQo pre-flop, or deep enough (>50BB) so that I wouldn't be worried about getting 4bet shoved on a lot.
Against later position opens and weaker opponents who may flat our 3bet too wide, KQo can be a value 3bet. Against EP opens, KQo would definitely be a 3bet bluff. If your opponent 4bets a lot, I would be more inclined to just flat KQo.
As far as the cutoff for 3bet/folding, it depends on positions, the openers raising frequency, and also their fold to 3bet frequency. KTo would be a reasonable 3bet bluff against some late position opens, but definitely not against an EP open.
Thanks for the question Cassoulet. I think this is just too good of a hand to 3b/f here. I would be fine with 3b/f against an early or mid position open, but against a wide button range, KQo is simply too good of a hand to 3b/f.

Hey, 00:25 do you balance any Kx on flop cbet-> check turn line? If not, do you think it's fine to cap ur river range so much when u check ott?
Yes I think it is good to have some weaker Kx in my checking range on the turn, in order to protect my range like you said.
Looked at both super tuesday part 1 and 2 thank you bro
Glad you enjoyed them!
Hello Gray , thx for the vid.
24:25 Don't you like to 3bet/fold KQo here? Would it be a waste of equity to 3bet/fold such a strong hand?
