Hey nico great video, liked how you play JTs from the btn against 2 players who can reshove on you and mostly festivuss on the BB who is a pretty agro reg, but with limping here you can represent a good hand or you can show weakness with a premium hand, really liked the way you go trough the video, nice rewiew and gl in to the FT video.
Was there ICM considerations at minute 4.24 ? because AK seems like a standard raise for value . Suppose his range is kinda capped when he calls out the SB in that spot. Was your thinking that only KQ, KJ an maybe K10s pay you off ? Then you have other hands that you lose to 77,88 and then you have all the missed draws he is bluffing with ?
Great analysis goochy! I kinda asked myself the same thing when I watched the hand again. Specially after checking back the turn, a raise on the river would be nice here. On the other hand, I dont expect to get called really often here against his range. I think if he made something around 45k on the river, I would raise, but I'm not sure I would bluff against his half pot bet. So in the end, I think I can conclude that my call on the river was considering ICM and being so close to the final table (which in this situation I'm not sure it's the best option).
I have started to watch the Essential videos. Just some of the tips have helped me to start getting to the money, online low stakes. I start out, top 10-15, then nit it up to the money. My game changes and I take less risks. I want to open up, but I just don't like the spots.
I watch the spots I take until I am forced to take risks because my stack only has10-12bb. Then I dwindle out of the tournament.
The last tournament, I tried to keep the hammer down. The blinds grew and the competition gets stronger. My bluffs start getting called.
Update. My question fit here better. I watched this vid. I like the thought process you describe. I started with this one, but plan to watch them all. My last tournament I was @65K leader when the average chip stack was about 14K. I hung well, stayed in top 10 and tried to make something happen. I got caught, lost 40% of my stack and was gone in less than an orbit. 20th place.

thanks bro! definitely an interesting hand, and a nice way to play that considering the players and the stacks on the blinds :)
