I really appreciate the effort I assume goes into making these in-depth theory videos. I find these videos more enlightening than most videos, because you're actually going into the core mechanics of why something is good and in which situations it applies. This makes the knowledge we get from this situation more widely applicable and going through the process also helps our thought process about the game in general. Thanks
great video. really like how you broke down in the different models. great point about the polarization and how we worry less about defending cuz betting so often.
maybe cool to focus on also if BTN bet turn, as they have the range edge and puts BB in tough, and interesting spot that seems to give lots of players problems (at least i feel uncomfortable when this occurs haha)
Hey sorry for not getting back to you earlier (long holiday). I'm pretty sure I either discussed the turnspot in-depth in the first and/or third part.
From what I remember, it's a great spot for BTN to bet depolarized with full range as you have the power of position (xb river with showdown). When I lowered sizing for the turn IP stab, the higher the frequency and EV got for BTN. I think I also somewhere reviewed a model where BB isn't checking turn with full range but insteads caps his checking range more, then of course frequency and EV got higher for BTN. I think you see this scenario a lot in practice.
It's a tough spot to play as BB for sure. I think the most important thing is to consider range interaction/advantage per street, and construct your range from there. A pretty basic principle of course, but still important to consider that some cards are just very bad for your range and leave yourself to big exploitation when you are not adjusting your ranges properly (when facing the right opposition). So this sometimes leads to betting flop with (near) entire range, to checking turn with entire range like in this model.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. There definitely goes a lot of work and energy in preparing for these videos, so I´m glad you found it helpful! :)
