At 8:00 where you open TT and you get 3-bet by the reg in the SB, what do you think his range is?

DjuNKeLL 10 years ago

As I said in the vid I think it is a fairly strong range because of my large open. I think most likely QQ+/AK mixed in with some bluffs.

Great video man. I really love how you adjust your sizing to be bigger for value smaller for bluffs against weaker players. Its one of the most simplest most profitable adjustments you can make yet i see so many regulars just use static sizing against weaker players.

Hi,

First off, really good video. I like the way you play and I find myself agreeing with you most of the time.

I do, however, have one question. You talk about how there's merit to having a balanced, depolarized 3betting range vs unknowns in certain spots, but to me those are conflicting concepts. A balanced 3betting range to me is essentially a polarized 3betting range, so in other words the exact opposite of a depolarized/linear 3betting range. Am I misunderstanding something here?

Thanks.

Hi SinnSE,

Thanks for leaving a comment!

Could you give me a specific timestamp? I think what I talked about in this video is that my balanced/readless 3betting ranges in LP is often a mix of depolarized valuehands with some polarized 3bet bluffs. What I mean with that is that in LP hands such as AQ-AJ, KQ, KJs, QJ, JTs etc are all in my 3bet range for value, and I pick 3bet bluffs for board coverage + playability, plus making sure I have a certain bluff:value ratio (depending on IP/OOP).

I will go into more detail on this topic in my next video, which should be out within a week I think.

I'm glad you liked the vid!
