Great video. Thanks for throwing in the sims. I also use gto wiz and I like it quite a bit especially for drilling.
8:30 aqch. It's an interesting spot exploitively speaking. On the flop it's never a fold in solver but you talked a lot about how opponent doesn't really have many bluffs on the flop or even on any turn. Given this, isn't folding to the flop xr best? Unless you think if turn is a club and opponent chks you can bluff him off but given how strong his rng is perceived to be this seems like a long shot.
27:15 solver shows us xr nut flush draws but only cc lower flush draws. Why is that? Do our nut flush draws block his aa ak hands so we increase fold eq? Lower flush draws have no showdown eq so I would think we would incorporate them into the xr rng unless the blocker effect is so bad
33:09 pio shows opponent chking back a lot of nut flush draws. Is this strictly to avoid a xr?
AQo hand
I am assuming that he is value heavy but I can't be 100% sure. I thought it is ok to call flop with the Ace of clubs since I can turn FDs. I also think that if he is occasionally bluffing he will give up turn unless he turns some decent equity like a backdoor FD etc.
KTs hand
The SPR is low and on this exact texture we don't have a c/r non allin sizings. He has some draws in his range so we dont want to c/minraise OOP and let AQ,AT/FDs continue cheaply.
We are jamming the FDs with higher equity and calling the ones with lower equity.
Strong hand -> put money in the pot
33:09
We check back to keep his lower flushes in so we can cooler them on the river.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. If you don't agree with me let me know, I think we can learn a lot by discussing different points of view.
I am using both. I like them a lot because I get 80% of the result with much less effort. However, sometimes I rerun the sims with the parameters that I want to check so I can clear up the sim as those insta solvers often use too many sizings.
hey Stoyan Obreshkov good video! in the last hand, are you not considering jamming flop? i haven't run the sim, but feels like it should be a mix of some kind. also on the river, are you ever taking that sizing against a reg? or just exploit because opponent is a fish. thank you!
Hey Bunzer,
Thank you for the question!
There is no need to run a sim in this spot I think because the player is a random fish and is very hard to nail his strategy. It is all about assumptions.
As I said in the video, my read was that if he doesn't have a strong hand, he will give up the turn so I did not feel the need to jam flop.
There is some merit in jamming tho, as we almost get the right price against the top of his range (AK/AA) and we clear up some equity if he has AT, AJ.

Hi Stoyan,
great video, thank you!
I saw that you have used ODIN in the past... What made you change your mind to now use GTO Wizard?
