Thanks Shaun. For me I think 1 hour and 45 minutes is a little too long for a video. Most videos on RIO are even less than an hour. I have watched the first 45 minutes so far. My takeaway was that, seeing your student in this video has so many leaks makes me feel a little better about my own struggles to beat these games. It seemed like from the hands I watched, you were critical of the student's play in the vast majority of hands you reviewed.
If the video was cut in 2 it would be two seperate videos you can watch but need to wait a bit to watch the 2nd part. Instead now you can pause and come back to it later. Which is why I decided to keep it one video.
While it seems harsh from me to have some ideas on every hand, it's mainly to give ideas for the student on what to think about and focus on. They might just pick 10% off the hands that might be their biggest weakness and then that'll be good. Same for the viewer here.
Really enjoy the long form video and the amount of hands you were able to cover. The way you discuss your thought process is really clear, found this really helpful. Cheers
I like this hand review, but the sound quality is really poor, which is a pity. I have a very hard time to understand what you're saying at different moments in the video. Maybe a better microphone will solve this?
