If we see a big bet on a street we consider it to be polarized. It's just not the case with recreationals. So you need to adjust your bluffcatching range.
Hey good vids! Thanks for clarifying some concepts!
Was wondering if you could possibly make a video elaborating on elasticity. My personal experience vs fish is that most of them aren't elastic. But I feel a bit difficult to find out the "optimal" exploit vs inelastic recs.
I think a full video would be a bit too long. If they are inelastic you should base your betsize in such a way that their inelasticity will benefit you.
If their range barely folds -> don't bluff, bet big for value.
If their range overfolds -> bluff always, still bet big for value (want to maximize the EV the times we get called).
Might be good practice to think out spots where you think players are inelastic.

Great video!
When it comes to merged and polarized, does it become different with fish? Because they can be so random!
In general Fish are merged in all spots, even when their betsize alludes to polarized. Polarization is more rare for weaker players.
So they just do what they do no matter what, what makes it looks like it’s polarized because of small and weirdly large bet sizes?

wizard came out with a video today that helps demonstrate some of these terms as well for linear, polar, merged, & condensed.

Anyways, thank you for the great content!
Thanks.

Thank you for the reply & advice! Will put that into practice & review routines since I'm battling lots of fishes these days :D
