hi Kevin
38:02 if you call turn with JJ would you be folding every river? isn't this really high in our range if we get a blank river?
42:00 AJ hand, why do you think sauce would check JJ to you on the river? woulden't there be a
greater chance of you calling wtih Qx then value betting it yourself? I don't see what you would call a turn x/r with that would want to bluff OTR.
Thank you

38 - Do you mean because of all the missed flush draws we'll have? It depends on his sizing again of course, but we likely have 25ish missed fds on blank rivers depending on our cbet frequency but basically any 7x (86 combos?). Combine that with having other hands slightly better than JJ at bluffcatching river (AA, AK, A2) and I really doubt it makes the cut when it's a thin turn call.

42 - I basically agree. I don't think this was a good play by him.

yeh, i was wondering if we have enough Kx/7x to not have to call some JJ/TT combos on rivers which brick.

@8:37 As8x4y7sQ river
Sauce had 9s6c, so he actually had a spade blocker, which could very well be his reason to check behind. Also, since a large part of Sauce's value range will contain an ace on this runout, shouldn't you call with AX hands rather than missed pair+gutter type hands?

Ah good catch, I thought he had no spades when I watched through this.

I did a quick check on my range getting to river and it would depend on what bet size he picks. Ax is generally a better bluffcatcher but it seems Ax+ accounts for ~55% of my range, so if his sizing is something like 2/3 psb (which I'd expect for hands like AJ/AK) then I should likely also be calling 86/85, maybe 46/45 on the river.
