14:30 on Ad-6c-4d pot $22, villain bet $7, you XR to $33. You mention 55 or 77 with diamond are easy calls and 88 99 are close to zero EV. Wouldn't 77 and 55 also block a lot of your bluffing region and strengthen your value region?
25:30 I thought SCs performed better than J8s and T8s hands. I see 87s-54s are low frequency opens where T8s and J8s you have as pure opens. Are these SCs losing money in your data base from HJ? Also noticed last video you are folding T9s UTG, using monker ranges.
7 minute: if OOP folding over 40% of his range(which is the case here), that does seems like autoprofit small cbet. I don't remember, but likely fellow coach Qing discussed it.
''Even though IP can cbet any two for small sizings, he still have higher EV to be checking time to time those pure garbage hands you mentioned to bluff later or hit pair and check down''
Hey Saulo , on the pio sim of A64ss Qo turn, I would assume IP would prefer using a smaller than 75% size when checked to on turn, just because how polar your range OOP is
given the wide betting range and the many folds OOP does, I would assume giving IP smaller turn size will increase its EV
That was exactly my thought, I would make a size like half pot or a bit less just to not give the good odds to a flush draw or open ended. I really don't like his overbet turn (especially to not shove river) with the Q of diamond that blocks specifically the hands that we would want to charge with a big bet which is a Qx flush draw
Btw your defense range from BB seems really tight, I would def A8o all day against a minraise
Hey, sauloCosta10 - Loving the in depth analysis! Getting to observe you talk/think through some hands really helps me to better understand the important factors that I should be considering myself; although it does seem a bit improbable that I'll ever be able to think that many thoughts while actually playing, especially given the whole time-bank thing. =)
Anyway, I hope all is well with your son and with life in general!
1rst hand
PF : Do you think when you re deep (200bb deep ), lets say you are HJ and people at your left are also deep . It is a situation where OOP wants to reduce his sizing preflop due to positional disadvantage ? Or do you think OOP player is incentived to bet bigger because of that ?
On A64dd , We need some 6x and 4x to put in our raising range, and I also think these hands have benefits to xr, we are gonna have some trouble if we never have those hand in you xr bet and xr x lines.
Edit : You said it after .
Do you presume pop has oop dont find enough of these hands (at least not as same frec as pio) and doing an exploit by overfold vs xr if you are IP in these spots ?
29min : As we can see, given OOp raising range is polarised , pio preferes to call a hand like 88,99 rather than Ax . I presume that human tend to play differently . How do you think (if we nud the tree) the sim will change our xr frec and construction ?
35m30
I would like to hear you thought on that, why we dont use geo size OTT as OOP when we allow IP to have a non AI betsize OTR ?
59min I dont understand why pio is betting only AQo and AQhh. I dont see much difference between both . Do you understand why ?

can we really ope 108,98,J8s from HJ if we folding 109s from LJ?
