Great series Sam.

At 20:00 is xr a viable strat with 33 here? Or cc flop then possibly xr turn? Do we always need to xf flop vs big bet with 33 here?

At 26:30 you play the k6 2pr cautiously. If there was no ICM would you play this hand with the same caution?

31:30 is slightly similar but the board is not as dangerous but you play a turned 2pr faster. Is this simply due to the 2pr being top 2 and there are worse 2pr that can pay off? In this spot our opponent can still have a straight as well as some sets similar to the example at 26:30.

Thanks Sam.

It's just a pure fold for chips and o4r should be tighter under ICM conditions, so it's even more of a fold. There just aren't many good turns or rivers we can continue on.

With K6 i can raise the flop, but the turn my hand isn't strong enough. I block some of his weakest continues vs a x/r (K8,9,JQA) and there are a lot of rivers i can't vbet after bloating the pot with a turn x/r and I can keep his bluffs in.

I mostly play 95 faster because 1 it's a stronger two pair and because blind versus blinds ranges are a lot wider and two pair is much higher up in both our ranges.

Nice video!
At 11:11, bvb Q6o, is it ok to bet all the top pair ott since the ranges are so wide and pot is so small that we can bluff catch underpair easily otr (assuming sb does not go for some crazy overbet)? With the range this wide, is top pair worth 2 streets of value on most river?
At 35.50, AJo. A9o is a chip ev call (icmizer). With the stack distribution, is BU's ICM pressure small enough to call near chip EV? With your commanding chip lead, I guess your shoving range is wider and you have a 3b nai range for AQs+ JJ+ etc so chip EV of A9o is even bigger?

With such wide ranges and so much to play you can't just auto bet all top pair. On a lot of rivers you can raise top pair for value so you can get the extra money in otr that way.

In your ICMizer sim how much is A9o winning in chips by calling here?

at equilibrium where bb shove 33% and uncapped, A9o is +3.5bb. For a range of BB of about 20% which has 30% of QQ+, AKs,most Axs and mixing Kxs, Qxs, scs, A9o is 1.09bb chipEV, and -0.14% icmEV (random prize pool).

BB shoving 33% is way too wide. I assume this is a model that doesn't allow the BB to flat so i'd be AI with any ace, any suited king etc?
