@3:00 vs Ivan you say if you had a shoving range, it would be bad Qx and some FDs. Can you expound on why the bad queens are the preferred queens to shove here?
Hey, Sam Greenwood - Thanks for these recent videos, I have really enjoyed them. I can't explain what it is or why, but I walk away from your coaching feeling like I "see" the game a little more clearly now. While I always learn something, regardless of the video or who the coach is, I have felt like your last couple of videos have had me simultaneously suffering a sort of time-dilation (in the sense that upon the video's end it felt like only ten minutes had elapsed from my perspective) and information condensation (in the sense that the amount of fog that was removed from my "vision" of the game was substantially greater than after watching a typical training video). Thanks, Sam. Looking forward to the next one!
at 27:20 when you block 88 OTR, whats your strategy with your range against a raise in a normal situation and also in this ICM-final table type situation?
Wombat44 Negriin should be bluffing with a decent amount of Kx and Ax so worse queens need the protection, i'm pretty sure i'd just call range here though.
Duke0424 Versus a reasonable raise size i'd call all Qx
Great videos Samm
At 27:20 when you block 88 on the river you have said that you fold against a raise in both situation (with icm factor and without). Could it be a good choice convert 88 into a bluff(in a non ICM situation) after we get raise? So he shouldnt have so many T after checking de turn.
