hi Ryan Ryan Henry i really liked the line on the A8o multiway;
OTT you decide to bet, , would you consider using a larger size? , if so , which hands are you doing it with??also, AQ0 from utg you let go that one, i would imagine that in a pko
we are confortable calling right ? , even against a tigher range...
Great video. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
At 23:30 you cbet aj. Are you planning on calling a jam from the short stack?
At 29:00 can you ever block bet the river with AA? I feel like there is thin value to be gained from quite a few hands with more of our rng than just jamming straights or better.
Thanks mate glad you're enjoying it. There are some very interesting spots closer to and on the final table, so something to look forward to.
23:30: If Calichem jammed the flop over my small c-bet I would be folding.
29:00: In theory the only sizing we will have in this node should be an all in. I can see some merit for a smaller sizing exploitatively if you think villain isn't going to bluff hands like J9ss/JTss/QTss vs a small bet and if you think that their calling range is elastic vs an all in sizing and a smaller non all in sizing. As always I suggest you have strong reads before deviating from optimal.
It means there is no mixing of frequencies and that that action is always taken in that spot. For example, if it is a pure cbet then you cbet in that spot 100% of the time, you never check.
Last hand with the QQ at the 40 min mark. How often are you checking back in this spot? Would this be more of a check behind because we have the backdoor spades? Thanks for your insight!
At this stack to pot ratio we should actually be betting the spade combo more often as we are able to handle a check-raise more comfortably and the non spade combo should be checking much more. In theory I would be betting QQ with a spade ~50% of the time, but I think in practice we should ramp up this frequency as population under check raise and slightly overfold, which would increase the EV of a bet.

Hey Goodfellahh, always happy to answer questions, but would you be able to time stamp for me please?

Ryan,
Great score and I'm enjoying your videos, what do you mean
when you say "pure"?

Thanks Acehigh, glad you're enjoying it! SoundSpeed is spot on :)
Love the series!
Thanks Reggin, good to hear it!

Thanks Ryan! Didn't realize you were only using a ~50% cbetting frequency, that makes much more sense.
That's at equilibrium, but the think a good exploitative adjustment would be to increase your cbetting frequency vs population.
