Ryan Henry uses a select group of hands to illustrate the importance of ICM immediately after the bubble bursts first looking at chip EV and seeing if anything changes when ICM is considered.

I have learned quite a bit from this series. Often I just plug spots into icmizer but you running various comparisons of different spots, different stack sizes and icm vs chip ev has helped a lot.

I'm glad to hear that! I think its crucial that when studying these spots you need to analyse how stack distribution will affect the ranges as well as adjusting the ranges to represent how population play more accurately as this will give you much more realistic results.

Good videos. They have gave me pause for thought. I think im a little to wide in areas post bubble. Certianly to wide in calling off pre bubble.

Apologies if you have covered it.... What about the factor that ICM considers the tournament is over the after that hand. Even with FGS turned on... It still only accounts for a few hands into the future. So it undervalues the future value of having a big stack?

Is the answer somewhere in between CEV and ICM ? Its quite nebulous.
