With the a5 hand around 30:00, if u start 3/4 quaters betting it , it feels like ur turning it into a bluff? If u bet 3/4 and villian jams, then do we call of hoping he has the openender? If he calls and the turn is a king do we keep barreling? And if so are we just jamming?
30:00 I imagine the reason our hand sometimes bets for this sizing is because it can actually fold out a lot of equity on flop. Facing a jam we have a pretty clear fold as villains range will be fairly strong and our equity vs say an open ender isn't great anyway. On turn K barreling seems reasonable, but I would be inclined to bet on a spade king, given we have the As and no our sizing would be around 2/3rds pot.
Hey Ryan, great video. Excited to watch final table soon.
10:00 Just note. If you allowed smaller c/r you would likely get different results most likely without any calls or much less calls, our single check/raise sizing might be limiting solver output bit what it can do vs range cbet there.
11:00 Are you not worried about our calling range becoming much weaker if we raise overpairs here?
JJ/QQ seem would get in on majority runouts anyway if we call so we seem specifically target mid pairs.
What I am also worried about with raise we also shut down all his bluffs/A high spews.
17:15 77 you are saying both players played hand pretty well, would you not think CO player after everyone checks turn+river should bet his Q high flush every time?
I would expect K/A of clubs betting from us and HJ most of the time on river and many weaker flushes still can call.
