5:50 facing the overbet I'm not so sure about this call. Besides realizing eq as you stated, and having to fold most rivers, I think you are up against some reverse implied odds as well should the flush come in. Even catching a q or t could prove to be costly.
15:00 how do you feel about opponents turn bet with aj? Seems thin but maybe ok for value.
hey mate,
5:50: Perhaps you're right, but it really depends on how you range villain, it can be very easy to start over doing it with say 78o/79o/4x type hands, a lot of flush draws we dominate. Essentially I can see scenarios where this is a clear fold on turn vs some opponents, but a clear call on turn vs other opponents. For us to fold this villain would need to be using a lot of Khigh and Ahigh flushdraws and boats and not too much 4x or weaker flushdraws. If we covered villain then it would be a slam dunk call on turn IMO.
15:00: AJo will be fine, especially given flop sizing. I will need to continue a very large % of my range, anythings with a BDFD will need to continue vs this sizing and so AJo is very far ahead of a lot of my range. Sizing from villain is a bit too small though, I would have 2 sizings here, overbet 125-150% pot and then a 50-66% pot. I would put AJo into the smaller sizing.
18:35: In a non PKO I would mix turn, but sizing I would do more blocking IP (somewhere between 33-40% pot with this hand).

Looking forward to the rest of this series!

18:35 do you bet turn in a normal tourney too?
Thanks!
