Richard Gryko aka raconteur continues his battle at the $10/$20 PLO tables with interesting discussion on SB play, the benefits of running it once in certain situations, and maintaining a solid pre flop game as the basis of a solid approach.

just a personal preference but I like to change the hud opacity to see showdowns without having to click the replayer

an idea for a future video - could you discuss spots where solver chooses non-geometric sizings? there have been some spots such as - turn spr is 2, the preferred sizing would be pot, leaving 0.33x behind otr. I think this happens mostly when board is very dynamic and no straights or flushes are already present (but not entirely sure about that).

a related and more general idea for discussion could be lines that seem weird and unconventional. I think they could really boost winrate as it is unlikely villains are practiced against it. I expect that even if we are picking some sub-optimal sizings or lines the "weirdness factor", as long as we have a general understanding on what we are attempting to accomplish, would outweigh the ev loss.

From what I've seen, Monker in general is pretty ambivalent towards concept of geometric sizing, not totally sure why, maybe bc equities are less polarised than in NL where my hazy recollection of MoP is that it plays quite a sizeable role. It could be an idea to isolate and discuss individual situations where varying SPR results in significant sizing preference shifts though. I like the other idea too, I'll give both some thought.

great video Richard, and hope to hear you back commentating the Galfond Challenge soon! The you/Stapes combo was sooo entertaining but mainly enjoyed your approach to talking about the hands more than the other commentators just because you were ACTUALLY talking about the hands and the strategies. I know they have to cater to a wide audience in picking the commentators but I do hope you make a reappearance.

Hi, thanks, and yeah, I'll be back when scheduling allows, it was a lot of fun - glad you enjoyed the me/Stapes combo, I did too :), super nice guy, and must have insane stamina to do the Challenge + Aussie Millions every day for a week.

Late comment, but I've been catching up on your videos. I just wanted to say that was excellent insight diving into the strategy pair on the flushing river on multiple levels. Keep up the great work!

EDIT: if i were to ask for more... one or two high stakes live play videos. for the fans. also useful as a leak finder covering a lot of hands.
