well done i like this style of video!
i would prefer to see the hand till end, or when you speak till the river like turn play on blanks or on board changing cards, it is more actual with spots with higher spr while we play river also, but here too.
I loved it, thank you!
Hi Richard,
At 12:40 we have KQ33 on T96r. At the top right it says KQ33(0%), why is it saying 0% there? And is it saying we should check 55% and bet 45% of KQ33 combos here?
Oh and as per your question to the viewers, I would prefer a more focused approach.
the [0%] is how much of our total distribution this combo represents - presumably it rounds to the nearest 0.1%. More precisely, its saying that KQ33 taken as a whole bets and checks at that frequency, with action frequencies on a more granular level (how often it bets/chks with 1bdfd, 2bdfd, 0bdfd etc) in the "all categories" section.
Right that's what I understood too. So in this particular case we can either have 1bfd or 2 bdfd because we presumably only have ds combos of this hand. with both categories (1 or 2 bdfd) it's advocating for a fairly high bet frquency ~45%.
I think this could be because our hand actually unblocks a lot of folds AAxx/AKQx hands; the board is decent for our range; we certianly can't check call; and we can turn the nuts/ set of 3's which will likely be the best hand; or we can turn a decent pair/draw to continue.
Based on what Vision told us, I felt this spot deserved a bit more attention than you gave it. Thoughts?
I think the argument that it unblocks a lot of folds is somewhat counter balanced by it also unblocking a lot of continues, not having any card 6-J is pretty huge in that respect. Unblocking AA is pretty significant though when facing a pf 3bettor on a board where AA does quite a bit of folding, also value of alternative option is very low, our hand makes for a poor continue vs IP Cb and a poor turn probe vs IP Chk. Low pocket pairs are often seen in bluffing lines generally even when not intuitive choices.
Finally, id prob simplify that output to pure betting the 2bdfd and pure chk the 1bdfd bc we are getting peeled a bunch with no blockers to continues and we need to have stuff that can continue turns reasonably often.
Richard Gryko Per ur feedback request, I prefer a bit more focus, but I also think the best content from anything in this format is going to come from you going through spots as you would as if you yourself were studying and stopping to drill down into interesting and/or surprising spots in more depth. Phil does this really well with his visions videos, when something catches your attention chances are it will also be interesting to us as well

I like the variety and quick examples of many different hands
