great!
14min, on the turn with KQQ after bluff raising the flop, if we decide to barrel turn with that class of hands, KTTx, KJJx, so than we pot/folding?
I guess, giraffe's asking if we fold after potting the turn or call. and I am pretty sure that it's gonna be clear pot/fold with the hand class you're talking about. And that's where we see the difference between betting 67% and POT as the solver uses the first one with the hands like KTT6/KQQT, holding a gutter. I guess, These hands have higher EV of betting 67% and folding than potting it and putting themselves in an dicy spot where they should probably call All-in, but super unhappy about it.
It's also worth noting that hands like K+OESD are always checking back, if I am right.
basically what neveragain said, if i simplified id either have pot and zero bet/folds or ignore the pot preference and go b67'ish, around SPR2 when the aggressor is relatively polarised you quite often see a preference for b67 over b100 for the precise reason that the smaller sizing allows for a bet/folding range.
@21:30 on JT2dd you say you're checking range in every position except sb/bb. By that do you mean categorically every time you are the pfr oop in a single raised pot? So utg/btn, co/btn, etc?
~18:30 T644ds bet river decision. You said you went with big bet instead of pot due to polarity disadvantage. It’s not clear to me that this is the case. We have quite a bit of JT and KK as well and in practice the population probably over cbets flop, over delay cbets turn, with overpair and JT combos. Do you agree? If so, do you think it’d be correct to adjust to pot exploitively?
~ 25:00 as IP on these paired boards with an overpair, do you think it’s more correct to error on the side of checking or betting river? (I’m guessing you go B50 for these). Also, for the turn bet on the lower paired board, there was a pretty decent amount of B50 on the turn, what is the difference between the B50 and B100 ranges?
As a side comment, not often, but sometimes, when you switch over to solver you have syntax already in the filter and as a result sometimes I don’t get to see the base line strategy bet size probabilities, because there’s always a filter in for the entire explanation. I find it helpful to see this first so I can understand what you say for the filtered in the context of the overall strategy.
T644 - not sure IP overcbets either street tbh, in general ppl get IP cbetting frequencies pretty close to accurate, turn im not by any means confident of this but if i had to make a population assessment id say they under DCb-bluff, so they have quite a lot of JT in R/x/x, id def say we probe JT more than they DCb. if we take your assumptions as accurate then adjusting to pot seems fine.
25.00 - ppl prob XR more trips than theyre "meant" to on early streets so i guess id err on side of betting more often. b100 value bets that unblock 8x, bluffs with good blockers, b50 more 8x, some thin value.
Just want to say I appreciate the content, your videos are definitely worth the RIO elite subscription price alone. Great breakdown of GTO strategy and how it can be applied, I look forward to reviewing the rest of the videos you have uploaded in the past.
As I recall you often used to tell me how bad I was so I guess listen to Vision :p
More serious answer, for flops, listen to whoever, it usually doesnt matter very much which sizings you use as long as the range you bet for that sizing makes sense. For turns, if there are significant differences then I think mine are prob gonna be better.

PS. great video, Richard!

single?
lol, off the market for a long long time.

i think you can simplify to pure chk in all those positions without much EV loss, obv can work in some bets for exploitative reasons where desirable.
Richard = Genius
I'm Richard and I approve this message :)
Great video. Learned a lot. Thank you
You're welcome, glad you got some value from it.

Noted, will try to recall for future.

Thanks very much, hope you enjoy(ed) them :).
The replayer review was really great, would love to see more of these. Thanks.
How come you/monker solver uses different sizes on lets say KK9 board than vision does? Should we listen to you/monker or vision?
