Note: I had a msg alerting me to an issue around 12.00 where im talking about a hand that, from viewer perspective, is not visible on screen. For context, this was the first hand at a new tbl where SB limpcalled vs my BB iso, I had AK55ds, 40bb effective, flop 874hhd, I had K high diamonds. I discussed cbet spot for a while, turn was 4d SPR3.
Can you talk more about 11:16 top left? Surprised you thought this was close. Maybe I'm overfolding in these spots, but even against a 1/3 bet from btn this seems like a fold. If our hand held a better BDFD maybe c/r since population is over c-betting?
nut gutters realise equity well, make ok bluffs vs missed turn cb, vs b50 fold seems fine but its close enough that in b33 vs btn i think that as a hand class theyre often a slightly +ev continue. dislike XR, you normally need pair blockers for that on heavier textures.
at 6:10 don't really think the sim is reflecting that data point you intended unless I'm misunderstanding. Syntax is too vague and leaves in K9 and 99 combos that are mostly betting, doesn't actually show the middling range discussed. Think we wanted less than 2 pair.
agree syntax is quite vague but fwiw the point stands once the <2pr constraint you mention is applied. worth noting that there are a lot more combinations of qt9:dd without 2pr than with, so even factoring in the 2pr/sets betting at higher weight the overall freq doesnt shift much (literally moves needle like 1.5%)
yep pretty much that - flop seems like a natural spot to simplify cbets out unless explo conditions exist, turn can also make strong arguments for playing strategies that involve one or both of not betting that size/not betting my hand class.

Tyvm Sir Richard Gryko!
you are, as always, very welcome :)
The last hand top set of KK, you ended the video saying you didn't play the hand particularly well. What should you have done differently?
I think he meant, he wanted to check flop. Both with his hand and IPs connection with that board.
