Nice video again ty a lot for that, I enjoy a lot when you fold a relatively strong hand but list all the combos you might possible have so villain cannot exploits you.
Some questions:
Maybe I’ve miss the explanation from some vid in the past but why you don’t play with a HUD?
@8,30 99
You said it is pretty much a call and you can stack off on low boards. The problem is low boards are rare and you’re going to flop a lot of overcards. Yeah you are IP but villain got stronger range than our and I don’t know whether we can realize our equity. Talking personally, I wouldn’t realize it, because I’m a overfolding nit.
I would stack off pre and capitalize on his bluffs. The pot preflop is huge already so if he sometimes folds we gain a lot. At the same time he can easily way be ahead of us. Dunno, this simple spot is a struggle for me.
Can you elaborate a bit further way it is always a call for you? I assume you call regardless of the villain type
Lately , @13,25, you explained the AK vs TT hand. Your explanation might be the answer to my BB vs SB question above, but not sure
@ 11,55 KJhh
This is kinda embarassing since I should know this masic math, but I need some help here
You bet 20 into 40 pot OTT allowing QhQx and AhAx to come along.
Now, that range got 24% equity, so his potential call with those hands is BE.
Why don’t you bet more than?
Because Villain call is correct with that range, why do you even bet? I mean the EV of betting is larger than EV of checking?
You said PS doesn’t show the amount of tables villains play, it is only .com related? Because on other PS’s segregated market they show the total number
Hey Carlotta. Sorry for the late reply I have been out of the country.

I normally play a mixture of online sites with live poker and do not have a large recent sample on Pokerstars so the data is inaccurate for the player pool. I also believe these videos are better tailored for showing you how to play a general robust style of poker which is more useful for my general viewer base.

If we fold we lose 9bbs. If we jam we probably end up losing somewhere between 0-9bb making it better to jam than fold. Calling is probably higher in relative EV compared to folding and jamming. Preflop we dont have enough equity to likely jam preflop unless villain is over 4 bet folding hands like A5s, ATo, KJo and I believe the player pool is calling rathe than 4 bet folding those most of the time.
Postflop we can hit a set, an open ender, a low board, a flush draw etc. So many boards our nines equity goes up when his overcards and overpairs to 99 drop in range equity vs 99 that we can more comfortably put in more money.

I don't want to isolate vs hands like kx+ here and allow him to more comfortably fold hands like tx, pair and flush draw. Slightly bigger seems completely fine though.
Hey Henry, @11.55, KJhh on the river k9TK5 4clubs, we ever turn that hand into bluff? coz you knew we lose on the river majority of the time, ever think about jamming the river?
@ 34.20,can you pio that qqs on 35TKdd hand pls? I guess it's likely a call. Folding there is bit too tight imo.
Thanks and run good in 2020.
I think jamming could be an option for sure. On this river we are actually now at the bottom of our range so theoretically this definitely can be a bluff yes.
I got a good laugh out of the notes you had on Dekkers, Henry Lister - he must have gotten you with some "run-good" back in the day =D Great job explaining that they were likely outdated though; while I've only seen two of his videos so far, I'm very confident that he has worked on his game since those notes were taken. =]
Great video again. Just the right pace for me and amazingly understandable argumentation. It just seems all so easy when you explain it the way you do. keep it up, it really helps. thanx!!!
I'm about halfway through this video... Just want to mention that as someone who plays a LOT of live poker, it would be so awesome to see you break down a live session. IDK how that would be even possible but maybe you are privy to some of those live games that have hole card cams like live at the bike! (for example.)

It won’t show on the zoom tab but if you go to all games/cash and select on the filter to show zoom you can see how many zoom tables they are playing.

Hello, Henry, I really like your videos
Since you mentioned live poker, would love to hear some of your thoughts about playing live in future videos. Thanks
Sure will think about this. Thanks for your kind words

Don’t know what they even were but I’m sure they are extremely outdated in his defence. Likely 2 years old.
Lmfao the notes on Dekkers
So... should we watch his vids?;]

Thank you for the kind words Giosav
@4:48 wouldn't you barrell turn if your bluffs picked up more equity? or the 3 is too ugly?
Def stay with this format.

Thank you for this video! I find it to be exactly the best format to learn how to put theory into practice.
