Hi Steve, thanks for the review!

I recorded this 2 months ago and looking back, there were def some cringeworthy spots but that´s why we´re here for I guess :)
This was maybe my 2nd session ever at NL25 and there were spots where I was trying way too hard, like chasing chances to play with fish or players that were spewing their cash tickets, I did the same with my 4 NL ticket :)

And about my blind play, I actually said that I was afraid I was defending too wide, not tight.

At 18:00 with K9h
I find myself checking a lot on these kinds of spots, because I feel like I´m always getting (bluff) raised when I do bet :)
Same goes for thin value otr which I don´t do enough.

At 22:55 A7cc
I don´t know what that was, other than complete spew.
I hope I misread his stack or something.

Really looking forward to the next part, it was even crazier if I remember correctly.

ah too wide makes more sense, sorry about that!

And yep, pretty sure part 2 has some craziness :)

re: being worried about getting bluff-raised, make them prove they're capable of doing it before you worry too much about it. Also, even if you do get bluff-raised here and there you're going to have plenty of hands that are strong enough to continue against a raise, so having to fold this particular hand is not really that big of a deal.

I use the Flashback Express recorder which is free. It´s only for recording and playback so you can´t do any sort of editing. For this video I had 30 day trial of the Pro version which lets you do everything.
I´m sure Camtasia has that too, eiither by using the blur option or just a textbox, like I did.

hi Steve thanks fot the video i got 3 questions
1- flop was Axx completely dry and you said that you can cbet 100% of your range and if you cbet small, may you explain the reasons?? ty cause if you bet small your oppo must defende and i think he will defend more, and on the turn you have too many bluff hands, am i wrong?
2- You said something on your database when your in BB and want defende more hands against the BU or probably vs all positions, but i did not understand how may big blinds you should loose and so on (sy i'm not a native english speaker) may you explain a lit bit??? thanks:
3- In SB vs BB he defended 86o, against open 3x, is not too much, it's more than 50% of your range
thanks again looking forward your replay:)

  1. You will have to do some giving up on the turn, but when you have a significant range advantage cbetting very often but with a small size is a reasonable strategy generally speaking.
  2. If you fold your bb then you lose 100 bb/100 (or 1bb per hand), so any hand that you lose less than 100bb/100 with by calling should be called.
  3. I would fold 85o but think 86o is fine to call. I would definitely be folding less than 50% of hands as BB.
