Hey Stelios, nice video. There are 2 spots where I disagree with you/I'd like to hear more from you:
@4:40 you say the JJd on Q84ddd is a pretty standard bet to get value from 99d/TTd/AdKx/AdKx, However I think we can't get 3 streets from 99d/TTd and they're drawing almost dead vs us and we have 50% against AdKx/AxKd so we're not exactly value betting vs these hands (and if they raise us and we fold or call and fold turn it's pretty bad) and I think we have a great hand to check behind and play turns and rivers.
@8:50 Not sure I agree with cbetting 55, we're only folding out 66/77 (if that) as better hands, we have terrible equity vs Villain's continuing range and we have better hands for barreling like hands with backdoor draws, especially hands like QJs which also block Kx combos.
hi
@JJ I prefer betting because as I explain we are getting raised very rarely in this spot so I don't really care about this and I like protecting my hand versus their overcards+fds.
@55 I totally agree with you, but in these boards that are much better for our range it can't be a mistake to bet a variety of bluffs with some frequencies even hands with low equity vs calling ranges so that we can have enough bluffs even in runouts like this one in the specific hand, so for me the big mistake is not bluffing turn or river here.
Hey Stelios
10:15 Q5 Shouldn't he bluff river at least some of the time with this combo? Or is it too high in our range since we have so much air here?
It's a very unique spot. I would approach the situation really exploitive because villain should cbet 100% this board when limping utg facing a check from bb. When he misses the cbet I instantly believe that the probability of him being a weak player is too high and this board is very connected with his range, so I think he might fold very rarely for me to consider creating a bluffing range.
Hey Stelios. At 21:27 hero has T9s in the BB against MP who opens to 3.5x. Hero folds. You said this was a tight fold. For me this is a standard fold as the hand is too difficult to play profitably out of position against a strong range. I would only call if the opponent raised to 2.5x or less. What hands do you usually call with here? Do you prefer to call with T9s here instead of small PPs? Playing the BB against UTG and MP opens is one of the areas of my game which I would most like to improve at.
I think it s still ok to flat even vs 3.5x, You should be able to at least breakeven and it's great for your range having hands like T9s. Even if you don't want to flat due to the bigger sizing it's a nice hand to have in your 3betting range also in these positions. So fold would be my last option here
Hey Stelios. At 23.10 hero has 66 on a JA63Tdd runout. You mention that would turn KJ into a bluff on this river after villain checks. I would usually check back as second pair seems too strong to bluff with. Would you bet because you think KJ one of the worst hands you get to the river with (and therefore is a good bluffing candidate), or is there another reason for turning it into a bluff?

Alright, thanks!

It s exactly what you said. I can't find worst hands than KJ there so if I don't bluff KJ I m sure I m not bluffing enough.
Good to watch low stakes cash games. I look forward to seeing more like this for 'essential' plans.
