Hand at Minute 37, right table. I believe 4 betting QQ in that spot is best. The BTN's 3betting range against our CO open range is pretty wide, calling however, leaves us in a bad spot playing QQ OOP, which can be quite tricky to play postflop on K or A high boards. I would always choose the 4bet.

Other than that, very nice video. Very detailed and great thought process explained.

You are right that 4betting should be the high frequency option against most players, although flatting some times to strengthen our calling range is a good idea too. I would mix in this spot.

4b is not always best it depends. If the guy has a high fold to 4b im just flatting. We got position with QQ we are still in a great spot and leaving QQ in our flatting range also makes us tougher to play when we do call in 3b pots. If your always 4b QQ and just flatting everything else your range is to weak and regs are going to barrel u a lot on your small pairs u do call with when over cards come post flop. I think if we are op then 4b the QQ is better and more standard since its tougher to play op. imo

Great video. Btw Alex doesn't defend nearly enough from BB, and doesn't steal nearly enough in SB vs BB. 79s is a steal vs BB for sure, also he folded Q9s in BB I think vs MP open...

it could be based on opponent without seeing a hud its kind of hard to understand whats going on with his decision making. But it might be a player dependant situation and just giving up against guys who has a high cb and turn aggression. Being op against those guys its -ev spot i tend to 3b them instead of call pre.

at 23:42 i see in all the essential videos u guys say its bad to call with AJo it depends what their raising range is from ep. Its not a universal law to fold AJo to ep raiser. If he has a high fold to 3b but raises a lot from ep i will flat to keep in his worse range. I know you can squeezed from behind but its not like its going to kill your win rate if someone sq behind. The same can happen with AQo. Say a guy raises 25% from ep and has a fold to 3b of 70. We don't wanna 3b him and knock out all the range were crushing. We would have 57% equity vs a guy raising 25% pre from ep. Now say he has 20% which a lot of players do we still have 55% equity vs that range. And we have position on top of it. Yes ep but unless the guy has a high barrel on the turn we can call profitably imo vs more lag type players with AJ. I don't know where this rule came up you fold AJo vs ep raise thats only against the tags or lags that barrel hard post flop. folding imo is a big mistake I would either flat or 3b depending on the player. AJ is a pretty good hand in 6 max. Its not like K7o we have A we can rep nut flus hdraws when 2 flush cards flop/ we can still hit J which can be good or an A some guy shots can flop. Its not that terrible of a hand. Only against a tag is where we go into reverse implied odds and cant' realize our equity as often.
