Hi owen!
In KJo spot, you said checking behind was the best way of playing. Since a player flops flush like 4% hands, were this not a spot that we could bet like 65 - 70% pot ? I mean like, im gonna get paid all the Ah, and all the Qxh (Qth - QJh - Q9h) and all the KxH too.
I think we loose a street of value checking behind here. AndIi think most of players are folding turn if it doesnt hit a Heart card. Otherwise, by hiting a hearts on turn we can turn off our hand.
Am I wrong ? Checking behind Im loosing a street o value and i still give them a free card.. IMO
Hey AAlan
in that exact spot i find myself getting owned too often by the Ah when he cr all in on flop. (especially in bounty tourneys)
also you are never gonna get 3 streets of value anyway, so it might be good to check flop back. have some pot control and see what happends on the turn.
and lets say you check back flop and no heart on turn - now you can safely value bet and the Ah should not be that likely to mess with you with check raises since there are only one card to come.

So what happened with the AJo in the 4-way pot?
