I love how I would have played majority of my hands like Daniel did.
I'm just beginning to dabble into PLO, transition from NLHE, and my thinking was very similar to his in a lot of spots.
What do you think about players like this transitioning from NLHE playing with deep stacks in the plo200 and 500 zoom games? Better to get 100bb game on point first? Or is there so much more value in playing deep you should try to master it from the off even though your mistakes will cost you a lot more?
I would wanna learn to play a solid 100bb poker first and then expand my skillset and ranges if stacks get deeper. I think the mistakes u can get into firstly will be preflop mistakes, because if u play deep, then u can/should play somewhat wider ranges and u will get used to play those ranges in 100bb games, which are not optimal.
I don't think this video should be part of the "Learning Paths" series for PLO. There are too many stretches of silence where it would be helpful to discuss 'what if...' scenarios during those moments. It's also difficult to appreciate why a play is "standard" without an explanation.
I agree with Lausbub...zero in depth.
The hand analysis on the KQ997 flop was really good...it's too bad other hands weren't paused and discussed in the same way. The rest of the video wasn't very insightful.
agree with Fitzroy on his point about “Learning Path” vids
As a beginner I need the “why” much more than a bunch of hands whizzing by, with a ‘standard’ tag from the reviewer. This would be a weak offering on its own, but definitely not “Learning Path “ material

I also suffer from IMS (Indecisive Mouse Syndrome) when playing PLO.

this is not elite content. one of your weakest videos, 0 in depth. liked your others though. wasted 21 minutes here.
