Big fan of this video series conceptually. I found this video a little basic. That's not exactly a criticism because it's intended to be an intro to the games, but I would enjoy a series that went more into detail about opening ranges etc.
I think most of the RIO members are unfamiliar with these games, so i wanted to show the basic first. If i get enough request i will consider to make some more advanced videos about these games.
But i think more traditional games (like stud8/omaha8/2-7) are popular and i am also far from an expert in these kind of games.
(I only played these when i am in the USA..10 out of 12 months i don't play any badeucey/badacay/etc...)
Is it standard to bluff every pair on river as BB or do we want to select certain pairs with better blocker effects to sb's xc's? Seems like blocking 7's is going to be better than pairing say a 3-5 due to blocking more of the top end checks.
If nobody has a badugi, then the best 3c badugi will win the badugi part. If nobody have a 3c badugi either then the best 2c badugi (can happen, although rearely), so 23-458 chops against 24-357
In baduecey there aren't any qualifier. Best low hand wins half of the pot. So if somebody have 4568 badugi, takes 1, and makes a straight to 4568-7, other player has 2459 badugi, takes 1, and makes a pair of 9, then 24599 wins the low, because 99 is weaker than a straight.

Opponent had 4c on river in the badeucey hand (35 minutes or so into video)? Otherwise you're showing that you both had the 4h.
Good catch skoldpadda and this fault was on us when finalizing the slides, sorry about that. So you can consider BB having 2s3d4s5s7s

I really like this. I didn't know how to play these games at all.

More advanced videos on Badugi, Badeucey and Badacey would be awesome.
Jcarver sighting at the A-5 table, that's amazing
Great video! Really enjoyed it, looking forward to watching part 2 & some more videos on A-5, 2-7, Badugi, Badacey, Badeucey & Archie! Thanks:)
Hi iteopepe88. Does a 3-card Badugi never take half the pot in Badeucey?

Also, is there no qualifier for the 2-7 half? Like if someone has a King low and the other person made a Badugi with a pair, the King low gets half?

I'm interested in A-5 snowing. You said you have lots of cash game examples
