hey grayson ty for the serie, i don't find that we are repping a lot of hands at 27'10 when we check raise the turn as we are maybe more interessed by just betting our set/value hands as he often have an ace after checking back this flop. I like to bet or check call (no?)
Because of stack sizes, I will always be shoving 99, 44, and 22 pre, so my value hands are trips and QQ+. Even though that is a pretty narrow range, it still puts him in a really tough spot when I c/r, especially since he will have <1 PSB behind on the river if he calls, and there is a shortstack at the table, so he should be folding to a river shove more often than normal due to payjumps. Because I can apply so much more pressure in this particular spot by c/r rather than leading, I prefer that line with my strong value hands and semi-bluffs.
25:13
ICMized it.
If btn calls 99+,AQs+,AKo+, SB calls 88+,AQ+, BB calls 88+,AQ+, even 99 is a slightly -$EV shove. 77 is -0.1% of pricepool. so just raise/decide. prolly sigh call off SB, fold vs others, maybe consider jamming over a small 3bet.
what do you think about flating at 24:45 with 10-8ss.? I would prefer here to play this hand oop and choose to 3bet 10-8o. Or maybe you dont have any flating range from this possition?
and almost the same situation at 25:34.
These are pretty marginal spots to flat with 108s and 89s. I prefer 3b/f in both spots because I think the hands are a little too weak to be flatting with, especially with re-shove stacks left to act.
I have to admit, I think your short stack play is tremendous. One of the most difficult parts of tournament poker, and something I have been working hard on. This video opened my eyes to a lot of different things in that regard. Thank you, look forward to more of these deep run MTT videos

12:19 What value hands are you 3betting and what 3bet shoving with 24 bb from BB? BTW, solid video, as always :)
I would be shoving small pairs and 3b/calling something like 77+, AJ+

Thanks, I think it's possible I would get AQ to fold (and should), but it's definitely very close.

why did you decide to check back at 33:12?
Sometimes I will bet, sometimes I will check. I like having some Kx in my check back range
cant find the reason why you raised him at 4-6-7-4... than you played hu
