If you have preferences among PLO High 5/6, and PLO8 4/5/6 please lmk. I've got similar work done for all five, similar video sequences planned for each, and am fairly indifferent to which I make first/faster. So if you have opinions please say so.

I've gotten some PLO8 4/5 feedback in a few places so I'm at least doing Video 1 for those soon. But I'm thinking beyond that too, especially since these will come out much slower than my regular plo videos.

Ok this thread is officially a voting thread for which plo variant game i make a video on next after plo8 and big o combinatorics vids (6-card hi is already made just not released, and ignoring 6-card PLO8 for now). ie which game of those 4 gets the first Part 2?

In the other mixed game thread there were two people asking for plo8. This is a democracy and with my vote I pick Big O. In reaction to these vids Phil G said he bet people will want PLO8 and Big O. This is my democracy and in my democracy he gets two votes.

So it's PLO8 3, Big O 2, 5-card PLO High 1, 6-card PLO high 0..

And well, please comment on the video too.

PLO8 3, Big O 3, PLO 5-card High 3, PLO 6-card High 0.

Part of me is :( about 6-card because it is so much fun. Part of me is :) because it is so much work.

5-card high 5 Big O 4 PLO8 3 6-card High 0

Well I just released 6-card high #1 but I'll pause that for a bit based on this. Have four videos left in sep, I think it'll be #7 in the plo theory series, #1s for PLO8 and Big O and #2 for 5-card high. Then I'll shift back to some straight plo and a couple limit mixed and then come back to these. Hopefully will have 2-4 each of PLO8, BigO, and 5-card High out by end of year.

Continue voting I'll keep checking back.

interested in all of them but I would like to see one series finished than the next one
the way you are doing it it takes very long till one has enough understanding for any of them

In the near future I'm focused on the PLO Theory Series and probably a small Poker Juice PLO series.

When I double back to mixed games I'll take that comment into account.

It is a difficult task to unroll videos covering a wide range of games. I have mixed games students where we cover 15+ games and it is difficult enough to get balanced, proper coverage of everything, and that's with the flexibility of 2x/week sessions + homework + supplementary material + some known unique goals. I've considered writing a mixed games book but it'd be like 5000 pages. It's the nature of the beast.

And here I have one video a week and multiple priorities. I've done at least an intro video for most of the mixed games (limit and PLO variants), and I'm glad I have. How I'll handle the follow up I'm not sure. Even if I picked say Big O, and rolled the intro into an eight-part series, plus did the next five PLO Theory videos, and three PJ videos - that's 4 months. Frankly I'd like to cover broader ground with that amount of time.

So I dunno, but I'll do my best.

Sorry that is neither a solution nor a commitment, other than that I'm centered on regular PLO for the next month or two.

Tom Chambers @59:13 you say there is other software that does 5 card besides PPT, what would those be? I realize this video is quite old now but I haven't found anything besides PPT that does 5 card. Thanks!

6 card high for me, just cos I think there's more information out there for the other types of PLO, but less study material for this variant for people who play 4/5/6.

Hi tom would you say properly learning 4plo is a must before learning 5plo or can we learn the basics of plo and dive into 5plo? Thanks
