I like the way you break down hands very thoroughly and discuss all possible lines giving pros and cons. The slow pace was to my liking, you did not leave any questions unanswered regarding the thought process that lead to your plays.

You seem like a very good addition to the nutted list of pros here and want give you a thumbs up for a job well done in this video.

Can't wait to see more!

nice video. although your style is a bit spewy at times, you have definitely got the better of me before in the past, so it's got some merit and very instructive to have you talk through it.

Enjoyed the in depth analysis Jack! Think I prefer this kind of video as we get an insight into the type of thinking that is needed to improve our game.

The maths regarding 8 high rundowns VS AA/High card rundowns was an eye opener for me, but is obvious once you think about it.

Love the video. I am trying to learn PLO as it is spreading more in my local casino.

For me i would preferred to keep it simpler in your explanations. I care about the basics of each decision, why to check, bet or fold ur range, what range u would have with your line and what your think the opponents range is.

I am much more trying to understand what a solid basic game is vs understanding super high level stuff.

All that said i've been learning lots from you and appreciate the info. I personally would just like to keep it simpler. I need to learn the most important aspects of each line not the 20 aspects I should think about.

Also if you want to spent 10 minutes on one hand, it would be great to do some math and not just talk about meta game and high level stuff. I.e. whats my range vs his range what are some scenarios and whats the ev of each, would help me temendously. As a NL player the EV of my hand range in every spot is touch to get right.

So again, if you go into detail it would be better for me to worry about the basics that is closer to gto vs exploitative higher level stuff.

i.e. I am looking at the AAKT hand and u have talked about all kinds of stuff but my questions is How strong is my hand vs a raise + 3 bet. Until i understand that i can't really apply all the meta stuff you are describing.

That said, very much appreciate the vid but wanted to give constructive feedback.

Hey, thanks for the positive/ detailed feedback, much appreciated! Unfortunately, in terms of math breakdowns I'm probably not the best guy to watch at this point. I've picked up alot of the game from simply playing hands, being in different spots and watching showdowns; I just threw myself in at the deep end after getting bored of NL and then had to run it back to the basics once I realised that I wanted to take it more seriously and that PLO wasn't all just a big gamble!
A technique I often used would be to make a note of the all ins/ big showdowns that happened in my sessions, then go into my HUD equity calculator after and run different simulations on how hands faired agaisnt each (can often be an eye opener as to how close equities run!).
In terms of more advanced tools you can then start using once you have a grasp on raw hand vs hand equity, examples I have seen used in other vids are Omaha Ranger and Pro Poker Tools Odds Oracle (software that might be quite pricey); within these you can see how well your hand is doing; for example against a player who is 3betting X amount from the BB against your button open and what % you have against his range on a flop with middle pair and some backdoors.
In Phil Galfonds most recent Essential vid on exploitative play at .50 .1, he uses Odds Oracle to breakdown a hand and see whether it would be +EV to opt into a 3-way all in presuming one opponent has AAxx and the other has a high card heavy range, then runs the numbers against the actual hands they had; myabe checking out how he does that and doing something similar might help? Tom Coldwell who used to do low stakes PLO Essential vids also has a ton of more math-based content which I think would be very useful and relevant for you, he's also an entertaining guy to listen to!
Hope all that helps and I'm certainly making a concious effort to bring more of the math-side of things into my game; I've never been a big HUD user either but am getting my head around it more. I feel pretty under-qualified to teach about them at the moment, but hopefully in the near future I can bring some of that into my content.
