Hey Pedro Madeira , at 5:25mins, you don't discuss flatting 55 only 3betting or folding. Wondering why the flat call is not considered... too likely someone squeeze? If you flatted and one of the stacks to your immediate left (both under 20BB) jammed (and opener folded) then how would you proceed? The pot would have 25BB and you'd have to call 16.5BB. With your stack size seems an option(?). Also, what are your thoughts on occasionally flatting AA,KK here hoping for a squeeze? What conditions would make flatting a monster a good/bad idea?

hey mate!
I am really sorry I took so long, I missed your question.
Regards to your question, I think its tough to create a flatting range when EP facing an EP raise, so most of the times I will either 3bet or fold.
But if you are to consider that, you have to do exactly what you said, add some traps do your calling range. And the factors that will be a plus for calling are a higher number of agressive players on your left - you will get squeezes more often - or shalower stacks - where you will be able to get it allin by ther river anyways.

At 10:30 flatting A9 on 9 high board is a bit risky isn't? Any over card, except A, is awkward. You have 40BB, the SPR is 3-1. I'm wondering if larger stack size is better to slow play with this hand? I understand you inducing bluffs but wondering if a top pair of J+ might be better?

Hey Pedro Madeira at 13:20 you'd call off last 10BB with T9o if folded to SB and he jams into you. Isn't that pretty close? Given its 9 handed, can't we wait for a better spot? Or is it likely with little FE our jam in a few hands might get called by 2 players? Something specific about this opponent shoving too wide in this spot? Or is it simply a vacuum call?

It's a +EV call without the bounty. When considering the bounty and the fact he has to shove any2, call get even better. But remeber that's against the SB shove, as I said I wouldn't be shoving it vs the BU open, just calling.
Anyway, this is BB calling range vs SB shove (without considering KO):

A) How often do u late register or rebuy ? (so longterm you dont lose money)
At what blinds level ?(how many big blinds / stacks min.20-25bb?)
B) Also how structure affects your decision, 7min blinds /10min /12min Pedro Madeira Many thanks !!!

hey mate!
Answer to your questions:
A) I late reg up to max in non PSKO tournaments and at most with 30bb in the PSKO ones.
B) Time structure doenst influenciate my decision at all, most important to me is actually the mtt type (psko or not), number of re-entrys and the stack depth.

Cheers!

Pedro Madeira , great video, my friend. I´m back to Poker and pretty off in these KO tournaments, if you can bring more material on it, it will be helpful, since I haven´t found many here.

Any studies suggestions on it are also welcome. Looking forward for the next video.

Cheers!
