I liked this video. Might be best as the first of 2 or 3 videos where you go over the general differences between 3bet and 4bet pots in 100bb and 250bb+ and look at a handful of spots in PIO.
Some deep live play would be great but I don't know if that's a thing online.
seems strange to me in the first sim where the ace high flop is much better for oop range we are checking 100%, but the 2nd sim oop is betting 66% when this flop seems much better for ip range
In first sim it is only better in the sense that we have AA more often (ip ends up having a higher frequency of sets, 2p, and high equity draws). In general we want to make decisions that yield the highest EV for our range on all runouts. In this example checking is best at equilibrium but in practice (most deep live games) OOP will be more narrow than the range that I used
great vid.
so the reason we chk so much on a86hh is cuz ak doesnt wanna get money in this deep and we dont have much of the sets etc? is this only reason? so interesting, 100% chk
I'm very late to the conversation here but I think the higher check frequency on the Axx board also has to do with protection being not very important. Hands like JJ don't particularly like checking T8x because so many overcards can come. On the Axx board, the worst card is already out there, so checking is less of a liability for those kinds of hands.
I am very confident if you provided exclusively deepstack content that you would quickly develop a cult following here on RIO. I'll leave the naming to you but Trench Marinians seems like a preliminary standout.

Would like to see more of this deep 3bet pot analysis
when you start the 2nd sim at about 24 minutes, your talking about in position player, but isn't it actually the oop players decision?

Fantastic.

What kind of winrate do you think is achievable in live $5/$10 and $10/$20 games in the US?
