Thanks Phil, I always enjoy Live session play more then the traditional videos. Its really informative to see what actually goes thru your mind in the few seconds you have to act.
love the live vids, you seemed very loose calling opens preflop in the PLO games, (you seemed to be playing roughly 50/35), was this a function of a fish being at the table?
Interesting talk around 1:11 about playing with or without initiative when oop. We've been discussing similar concepts in the PLO forums recently. I'd love to see more people chiming in with views. Check out this thread for example:
At 19:50 bottom left u open and cbet JTA5 3ways on 982r isn't this a good hand to check back since u can't really do much against a raise ? i know its just a 8bbs pot and its not super important but it would change my whole gameplan if someone told me that its better to cbet there 3ways.
Regarding disconnect and variance. If you look at it in the form of your old coach, and consider it a battle of reciprocity then it might be less tilting. Most people will suffer from a disconnect every so often. You can win the battle of reciprocity by investing in the most reliable internet and PC setup. That said, it will still occasionally happen and you can take solemn that it will happen less to you if you take steps to avoid it.
Also liked how you told Genius that you had a straight which was nice to inform him given he DCd but you didn't mention that you had trips on the flop and the raise was value not a bluff. Gamesmanship :)
Super nitpicky but given Genius has zero v-bets in his range when he pots into your quads, I'm surprised you didn't minraise as it gives him better odds to call Jx and the option to go for the hero 3bet allin for ~1k more :)

i would think this hand is weak enough to bet-fold without anything else going for us
Using Pidgin for secure chat, Phil? I thought I heard some familiar background sounds. ;-)

To get a new time bank in zoom you have to open a new table, can't just sit out. Great video btw!
