Unexpected but....YES! This series is awesome! Thanks Phil and Sam. I have no idea why more people aren't signed up to essential package. So much value :)

32:00+ Why does Sam in your/his opinion with noone showing any real strength. I know it's a 3 handed pot, but how is the 3$ bettor going to continue to a raise here? I think this hand should belong into the bluffraising range we have as it has good (and nutted) backdoor equity.

1) If this is not the hand to bluffraise there, which one is?

2) Make that board a lockdown board like 956, how does it affect Sam's bluffraising range?

(I've seen his note -->topset 2$ into 20$, but doesn't he need confirmation in that play?
I've seen lots of players, maybe not on PLO100, who "balance" those small bets with toprange hands, but then have a wide folding range at the same time)

Phil/Sam,

In the last hand, Sam had A-7-5-4 with the 10-7-3 heads up with the pre flop raiser out of position.

In value betting Aces up on the river and facing the pot sized raise.

In the analysis Phil mentioned opponent would do that with all J-J and K-K hands that peeled our flop check raise.

If opponent did have the rivered nuts of K-J for the straight on the board of 10-7-3-A-Q, what would you expect the bet size to be from opponent on the river? Is there any sizing you are folding to?

Wouldn't/shouldn't he do the same thing with K-J as he is doing with his bluffing/betting range for balance reasons?

Also not clear on why you are not giving K-J more of a possibility in this spot, hands like 10-J-Q-K, A-10-K-J, J-J-Q-K, K-K-Q-J and 9-10-J-K all fit a pre  lop raise, Cbet/call raise, call , river the nuts range, right?

Thanks for your insights...

I guess you need to know weather he is capable of bluff raising river.

In the hand villian 2x on the Db, and he also had a 3.5x range in the same spot.

I thing thats makes it less likely that he have T-J-Q-K or strong kkxx type off hands,

but maybe that part should be more jjxx end weak kkxx heavy? And his river raise more

bluff heavy? unless he just randomly 2x or 3.5x

I really hope you will keep making this series, its 100% usefull, absolutely no doubt about that, and a key thing imo is that you take your time explaining your thoughts in details.

A really big thanks for making theese :=)

Just completed my first video series on RIO, been watching on laptop on train in the morning = ballin. +free advertisement for RIO.  Anyway just wanted say, seriously enjoyable video series!! As always Mr Phil, you explain shit very intricately and with a good level of detail that causes me immense stimulation and thought provocation. Plus when you distract yourself it is quite interesting to hear your thought process regarding said distractions, lol

Erm the purpose of my post is in respect of the last hand, with A7; On the river, villain transitions a tonne of hands into bluffs, plus an air range when we bet 33 on river, and if we are begrudgingly making a crying calling, doesn’t a b/f instantly become a b/ship instead of b/call given the remaining stack ($57)????

At 29:25 Phil says he wouldn't open 9T67s UTG and I have trouble understanding this.

I know this hand doesn't flop many top two pairs but aren't we exploitable if we don't open this range UTG?

I'd like to know what your opinions are on this and whether it actually makes a difference at low stakes.

Hi Phil,

Early in the video you mention how in the games you play, a lot of your opponents tend to 4-bet more out of position than in position. I've heard you say this in other videos as well, but have a hard time understanding why they consider this strategy optimal. Is it to discourage their opponents from 3-betting light in position? Or do they just love playing out of position in 4-bet pots postflop?...
