I vote for more HU NL. I know a lot of persons like pausing and in-depth analysis of hands but I would prefer one full hour of footage with little pausing so we see more hands.

(And I promise to get back on the part 3 discussion.)

I'm not sure how easy it is to do this. But it would be nice to experiment with playing footage at 150-250% speed to get over the 62o folds preflop. And all the 4-bet and postflop pots at normal speed.

When play gets paused for 6 minutes for the A4o 9bb pot I don't really get a feel for how the match is played. This makes it also harder to see the relation between the exploitative plays and the history of the match.

Nobody else makes (online) NL videos above 600 NL so we all depend on Phil, who does a great job btw of making a ton of videos!

hi phil, at the end of the video you said his check with 64 is good, because he gets the most out of your 75 kombos since you wouldnt shove those over a river bet. i agree with not shoving over a bet, but i also asked myself if we should ever bet/call 75 there given your thoughts about his range. there is still no valuehand we beat if he check/raises and he would either have to be turning pairs into a bluff or checking air to you to check/raise them, which both  seems very unlikely to me.

i mean given that he is not having that much value kombos and since he definately will bet some if not most of his boats himself at the river, there arent that much kombos left for him to check/raise for value so he wouldnt have to bluff a lot of combos for us to make a call +ev, but still i think its very hard for him to have a bluffing range at all at river. would be nice to hear some thoughts of you at that topic.

in case of future videos, i would love to see some 6max holdem nl

I agree, since you have so much more footage of this match I would like to see a video with less in depth commentary, minimal pausing and more talk about game flow images and decisions based on how the match is playing out.

I like the in depth analysis as it really gives you something to think about.  On the other hand getting through more of the footage would be nice as well, especially if you don't think you will be able to get through it all at your current rate of progress.

I'm just happy you're making NL videos more frequently lately and even though I don't play much HU anymore I still enjoy and learn from these videos

Hi Phil,

Great and thought-provoking video as usual, thanks a lot for making this.  I came up with a few questions (mostly in chronological order), and would appreciate it very much if you could answer to some of them:

- @15:50 with K3o you checked back flop which you didn't seem to like; would you be more inclined to check back with Kd3x instead of Kx3d, or would you just bet both of them?

And what about checking back flop and raising on some turns, including this one?  I agree that you can't rep much, but technically you can still get some thin value vs his draws, and he can have a lot of them.  What do you think?

Also, would you have a lot of Jx in your checking back range?  Imho I would bet most of my Jx here, but would love to know if and why you would check back some Jx.

- On 885dd 5 9d board, do you think you can fold out a lot of straights/flushes on the river if you overbet or something?  If so, would that make you bluff more often, given that he can have a lot more flushes than 5x combos?

- ~@27:20 where you mentioned you didn't like your turn bet with AJ on 865r 2 board, do you expect him to lead most draws on turn?  I thought he could c/r some of his draws which can be a better play than leading on turn (because of the increased FE vs your range), so maybe this was another reason for checking back turn as well?

Also, can't you have some 6x and 5x in your flop checking back range, like J5 or T6?

- On 983r board where you donked/3bet with QJ, did you expect him to raise flop with lone Ax or Kx often? And also, would you expect him to go broke with A9, TT+ on this flop when you 3bet, or "slowplay" and shove on turn/river?

- On A98ss board where you raised with 98o, would I be correct to interpret this (raising flop) as the vacuum play, whereas you can still be flatting with this hand if playing ranges?

- When you 3bet T8hh and the board came A93r, you mentioned that you should hit this board harder than he does.  However, given that you probably wouldn't 3bet all of your Ax while he can certainly have a lot of Ax in his defending range (minus the top ones that he will 4bet), shouldn't it be the other way around?  Please let me know if I'm missing something here. :O

Also, on this specific turn (A93r T), would you have a lot of pure bluffs in your betting range, aiming to fold out his K high or 9x and 3x?

- In the last hand, when he c/r flop and checks to you on Q64r 6 board, how would you play your a) Q7 (actual hand), and b) draws like 87, 75?  I would think bet/check with Q7o and mostly bet with draws, but I wasn't quite sure.

Hi Phil,

When floating A4o on K93cc. With that runout, wouldn't it be a good candidate for a river c/raise? Seems like your river c/raising range is heavily skewed towards value if you aren't considering turning A4, 66, etc into bluffs. Specially since you're leading your T8ss floats most of the time.

Enjoying it. I would like to see more but maybe a little less focus on specific spots and letting the match play out. I think you could show all 3.5 hours.
