Around the 11 min mark on table 4 with my Ad9d J9 nut flush: I didn't really know which sizing to use... I didn't go near pot because I was afraid my range could be too value heavy calling a flop cbet with a player behind and couldn't immediately come up with a ton of hands that had a Ad or Kd blocker to bluff with. Maybe an ok spot to try and bluff without high flush blockers?
My first reaction would be to bet a similar sizing to you on the turn, maybe a little bit larger, with most of my betting range. I'd do this so that I could bet the turn for value and protection with some weaker flushes, or protection with two pair perhaps, as well as some bluffs without an Ace or King blocker.
On the river, I'd consider just potting with my nut and 2nd nut flushes, maybe 3rd nut, along with my Ad and Kd hands. We can add a smaller sizing too and include SOME nut flushes along with a lot of thinner value (and some low blocker bluffs). We can give up with a portion of our non-blocker bluffs.
By betting smaller on the turn, we don't limit our value range to, well - whatever we determine that would limit our value range to... maybe 2nd/3rd nuts or better. Then with a larger sizing (likely two sizings) on the river, we can apply maximum pressure/get maximum value from our nutted hands and blocker hands.
I do think we have a fair amount of bluffs on this turn - overpairs, 8xxx, A54x - so I'm not too worried about not finding the weak hands to balance out my value.
I liked this opportunity to see you comment on lower stakes play and also your critique of a newer plo player. It brings up points that might not come up when reviewing your own high stakes play. Also I like the depth that you go into on various points....it's not too much. Always thoughtful and insightful. ty
Agree with So_Nitty. I too am trying to learn the PLO game. Loved the content and pace of your analyses were perfect. Looking forward to more videos from this series. thank you!
1:53 Fold bad kings superstandard? Opener is short but superloose if i understand hud right even there is not much hands of him. Are we calling/3b Ksuit?
Didn't notice this as the footage played out, thank you!
In a normal spot (two 100bb players who are reasonable), I'm not entirely sure which play is best here. My default would be to fold, but I'm not very confident in it.
Given that the opener is loose and short, I definitely like calling. In addition to the regular implied odds, our good relative position (based on stacks and preflop aggression) gives us a lot more maneuverability on flops. With an overpair (preferably+ gutter) in a situation where UTG cbets and HJ folds, we can shove in some spots where we would've had to x/f against a normal range/stack.
Very good video, keep them coming! Sometimes I think we learn more by looking at someone else's play, as it forces you to analyse two opponents line of thinking
Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm glad you're telling me, because as a viewer I don't like pros reviewing other people's footage as much as when they review their own. I assumed most people felt the same way, so I rarely do them for my Elite videos. I can definitely make a shift towards including more of these!
Very good video, would like to see more like this. 1 question, at the 22:35 mark when the hero has JJTT 1suit you said that we shouldn't peel this 3bet as we are not deep enough. How deep do we have to be to make this peel profitable?

Yea I don't see how pot being a good sizing since the flop was multiway you clearly have something you can't be polarized between nuts/air.

Hi!
Could you tell me the meaning of each label please?
Does anyone knows how to put the rfi stats below the other stats in a seperate column?
