yeah i agree that AhJ65 bets more often on JsTh6h due to blocking their x/r range. Given it's not a hand we can bet-call so blocking their x/r range helps us realize equity.
Thanks, guys! Glad you enjoyed it. I worried people would find the topic of flop c-bets boring, but felt this was a really important leak that many members likely had.
Hi Phil,
I would love to see a lesson like this as the OOP player, it is something I struggle with as a small stakes player. Especially with regard to check/calling and how to protect an oop checking range as the preflop aggressor.
Thanks for the great content.

Phil, would love to see Vision used in Locked Down Board situations in SRPs. Seems like you ran into a lot of these spots in your challenges and would be interesting to see them navigated both from a theory and exploit strategy
Great video Phil. I´ve been giving bunch of thought to my c-bets lately and first of all this gave me the confidence that I´m going to right direction with them and whats more important I learned from this.
Was glad to find the time to watch.
When you were discussing AJ6:Ah!Ahh and pondered why it preferred to bet so much more. I think there’s many ways it boosts ev but one of the most common is for example they xc ,turn Q xx river heart. J6 will bet pot on river v check some and will raise some vs lead.
The broad takeaway is when holding the Ah we cap oop range on all heart non pair run outs which will always add ev and although we check some NFD we still better feature it in our cbet range.
When you discussed implications of checking back NFD I think one overlooked importance is how it works for your whole range as a system. Meaning, there were so many Ah!hh combos we check back flop with and if we aren’t checking back NFD then the advantage of holding the blocker is greatly diminished. It helps for hero calling still but removes validity of river raises.
AT8h7h on As6h3h I think the reason it checks so much is that oop call range is so comprised of FD and TP. 50% of his TP will contain the Ah. When he has NFD we obviously want to keep pot small and when he has Ah!hh we want to minimize the leverage he has to exercising the blocker against us.
Great video. Against weak passive opponents I do not like to check with my air, but instead bet 25% pot because I don't believe they are meeting MDF. Do you think this is an over-adjustment or is it a good thing to do?
Awesome video, however, I wish you included top 2pair and maybe bottom set. Would be extra interesting how often those are bet. I assume dry top 2pair on a dynamic flop would commonly be check backs since they qualify as medium strength hands that don't want to play a huge pot?

HA. This describes me perfectly. C betting too much because I'll be uncomfortable facing a bet on most turns. Great video Phil. Thanks
Great content for Essential plan!

Vision looks legit!
If I’m on ignition where tables are completely anonymous is it necessary to balance?
Or if vision says bet 70% does that become 100%?
