Really learning a lot from these videos. You mention at 9:30 you simplify to rng chking in limp/chk pots even though it is not solver approved and you talk about simplifying in other spots. Everything in poker nowadays is gto/freq/balance. Against your level of competion it seems like too much simplification would be a detriment. It obviously works though. Is it fair to say even your elite competition simplifies a lot?
Where do you draw the line of gto vs simplification against elite opponents?
At 12:50 left table if our jd was the kd can we call more since we can rep nut diamonds on diamond rivers?
As to the simplification question - most elite competition simplifies, yes. I have played some opponents who simplify less and I think they're making a mistake. It's too hard to juggle all of those ranges and they're going to leave some opportunities open for me to take advantage IMO.
12:50 - I would still fold. I don't think having the nut blocker helps you much when the SPR is ~1. You're repping low flushes too, not just the nuts, when you jam river against a small bet or check, so your opponent can call a bunch of flushes. To be clear, I'd say it moves the needle very slightly, but not enough.
38:31. Really interesting hand on the left-hand table. As far side cards go, having no spade or club seems to be better to have it and 44 doesn't seem to hurt a lot when OOP shouldn't have that many 4's on their bluffing range either when it doesn't block either boats or straights. At first glance, I thought you can have a better 96 to call with but this one doesn't seem that bad. Can you touch a bit on what you expect the side card's relevance? Thanks, really well-documented video.
I think 44 are bad to have because they're present in hands with unpaired draws but not a part of a VB range. Not having clubs is great. Only having one spade is good. I think this is probably a worse than average 96 combo. Anything with a T or 8 would be a lot better because those cards never show up in a bluffing range.
Is it harder to find 1-sizing cbet simplifications in 3b pots at 6max? Can we get away with betting range on J72, as described at the 32min mark? Any thoughts in this wheelhouse would be helpful.
I am an elite member and also a Vision user, just by using vision I have moved up from low stakes to mid stakes now (PLO 400 and 600) since last year. So thanks a lot for Vision.
I watched your recent videos where you talk a lot about simplifying strategies and range constructions. I feel a lot of low/mid stakes players will benefit a lot if you can release some video(s) on details on how you have simplified your strategies in hu and 6m and as well as if you can give practical examples and demos on how to do range constructions and heuristics.
That will be huge Christmas and New Year's treat for a lot of us. I hope you can make some videos on those topics.
I'm going to give it some thought and see what I can come up with. I've got a busy couple of weeks ahead, but I'll set a reminder to look into this after then.

Great questions, by the way!

Hey Phil, thanks for literally ALL the content!

Hey, TheRedWind! I think this is a big enough topic that it deserves its own video, as shivam kumar suggested below. I'll see what I can come up with.
