Jx or pocket pair + hearts are the hands I'd bluff with. They're all going to be relatively similar in terms of blocker effects, but I guess I would use Jx to pot bluff and QQ or 998hh to 1/2 pot bluff.
Yes, exactly. When I x/r, I'm only repping a full house, so I want to block a full house. When I lead, I rep flushes and boats (and thinner hands for a smaller sizing), but a lot of my pairs can show down, so I choose straight/flush blockers that usually are unpaired to lead.
No, the lower the set, the more this is true. When a lot of huge EQ shifts can happen on further streets you want to have some backup to x/r your sets. This obv increases with higher SPRs. Also it is a nice way to naturally strengthen your calling range.
HeyGals said it perfectly! You raise a lot of top set still (not all), but as the set gets lower, you need more equity. It has to do with how much equity you have against a calling (or raising) range in addition to playability on future streets.
Hey Phil, considering buying This Is PLO course you put out.. I play up to 1/2 and 2/5 mainly (online, Global Poker/some Iggy) I've been wanting to buy it and have always loved your content specifically as you explain things really well and consider all options. My hesitations are that I play in a weak-tight/passive pool, a lot of 6max too but also a lot of HU table starting late at night seems to be my naturally better game; anyways other good regs I know who have bought it said it wouldn't translate to my player pool very well. On the other hand the majority of my life I've played HUNL and used my knowledge from that to translate over to 6max cash/MTTs when HUNL kind of died everywhere I played so that is the learning style I'm used too so I could see the course being very beneficial to me. Would you say that this course is purely based on copying a solver or is there a lot of different player types and deviations/considering all options kind of content I always loved about you.
Great video and thanks for the content as always <3

Very cool! However, I actually DO expect to see you once in a while making videos :)
Could you also do some nlhe 6 max again? Maybe low stakes since you probably will have a hard time higher??? :p kidding
2:46 Table 2: What are your bluffing ranges for half pot and pot OTR?

3:30 table 2: Are you inclined to lead bluff more diamonds and x/r bluff pair more pair blockers on this river?

Could you go into some further detail about not check raising dry sets on wet flops? Is this particular to top set especially?

Phil Galfond are app games ok for your review footage or only want on traditional sites? Posting the question here as others may have it a s well.
Ty boss, good to see you in the ring game streets.
Good to see a new video! Not being exact on 6 max rngs doesn't take away from your overall knowledge of plo. Still so much to learn from you.
Looking forward to the next part but if you have some tourney footage from the wsop that you can do post play analysis on that would be great to see.
20:05 table 1 if we faced a cbet can our hand xr?
22:25 table 2 you said you don't like to xr a dry set on a wet board. Are you looking to cc to "draw" to a safe turn then put in a lot of money?
Thanks!
