Another amazing video from you Pete. I really like this mix of theoretical videos and live play. This is exactly the NLH content I have been looking for, thank you for these videos!
Great video Peter Clarke I love how you add a bunch of visuals to your power points and not just a bunch of words. Way easier to watch and soak in the information. I was way off on the last example on KT83J board, I thought it was going to be hands like T9, Q8, 98 that would bluff, blocking straights, 2 pairs, and sets but has some sdv. As you said earlier in the video its not about the EV of the hand but the EV of bluffing the hand vs checking. Im a bit too linear in my bluffing region so I really enjoyed this video.
Yeah exactly we don't care about absolute EV only relative EV and on the river hands like Tx are going to be far to good to have positive 'bluffing EV' as I use the term.
Great video, Peter. Absolutely love your way of pointing our those common mistakes people making all day long, but very hard to find out by ourselves. I even checked A7cc in the last example sometimes and didn't realize how big mistake it is. Cheers.
Probably quick drills in the trainer where you lock it to only give you spots where you face river bets (for calling) or have a betting opportunity (for bluffing).
You are providing quality content with a lot of prep work going into your videos.
Some of the Elite Coaches don't do that - I feel like RIO isn't fair in that way to you. You clearly deserve Elite status.
Thank you for the great Q7 vs 54 example.
Thanks for saying this. I can't say that I disagree.
Last I checked Elite/Essential status was decided based on what stakes you play and not on the quality of your teaching/videos. I've always found this a bit odd but it's not inconsistent with the common mentality in this industry that we're defined by the stakes that we play like the levels of a computer game. I'm a full time poker educator these days and have put everything into growing my business in teaching the game for the last five years. These days, there is absolutely no incentive for me to cut back on generating revenue through the business to grind 500 ZOOM or any stake for that matter. Alas, this appears to be a prerequisite for being deemed an 'Elite' coach here.
i loved the video what do you think the best way to get comfortable with this is? ive been in GTO+ zooming in on bluffs with air focusing on unblockers. do you have any other suggestions for studying these concepts?
How do you get Pio to show the betting options as percentage of the pot? Sorry if this is a simple question but I have not seen that as a option before
Finally, somebody who lays out what makes a given holding a good bluff without discussing the equity on later streets! I think it's weird, because there shouldn't be anything controversial about measuring the quality of a bluff holding as the difference between check and bet EV. It's a means of judging the bluff per se, not the semi part. This video confirmed some inchoate thoughts on bluffing I already had, while also completely flipping parts of the bluff paradigm in my head. Great stuff.

Lots of good stuff to take in here. Think I'm going to be rewatching this one a lot.
I really wanted to make this one for a while. Glad I finally did.
Oooooh yeah Pete, love your work.
Thank you. This means a lot.

Awesome to hear, thanks.

awesome amazing usefull and informative ... cheers!!! and Thank you .
Thanks for the kind words as always Willie.
Great video Pete, very useful and I am sure it will help me moving up the stakes, thanks for making.
Sorting your red line out will always help with beating a stake and this video should help a bit with that.

Thanks so much. You're not alone. These errors are among the most common in the entire game tree.
Great video! What do you think is the best way to improve intuition on blockers on unblockers?

My selfish side wants Peter to be our little secret and not pay the Elite price for his content.
But he surely deserves it.
