Excellent video Peter Clarke I really enjoyed the warmup before the session. Something I have been doing for years is studying before all my sessions.
How do you like PIO2? Also which version do you recommend getting for basic, pro, edge, etc? For the trainer can you play against multiple opponents similar to snowie or stuck with drilling the formation? Pros and cons?
I really like PIO 2. The right version depends on what you want to do. Pro is sufficient for most people. Basic is fine for one off sims but no scripting is very limiting.
Last hand of the video AQo on the KJX9X board what did you decide the best answer is between check back or jam? I want to say pure jam because I have regretted not pulling the trigger myself so many times. Its painful to see them show up with T9 TT QJ JT etc that are going to fold. Feels like a massive red line leak?
Sounds like a little bit of a results oriented assessment. The solver was nearly pure checking behind this combo as it occasionally chops and the EV of bluffing is 0.
Peter Clarke I did not mean this specific hand in general. Was mostly referring to my own play for massive red line leak. I think theory will check back some beating AT hands and just pull bluffs from Q8s type hands. I think in practice people have enough pairs + gutters that C C F.
