Nice vid!
Where did you get those preflop ranges...im shocked how far they are from mines.
Specially on that 3B pot MP vs BTN where oop has almost a pure 4B strategy when continuing and a really not existent/tiny calling range
Simple Pre-Flop is the one I've worked with. Pre-Flop solving requires a server normally due to the size of the trees. I wouldn't attempt to do it locally on a normal computer.
I think because the line is so rare - 4% of overbets, most hands that will defend well, are more incentivized to block or bet themselves, not check-defend. Also, card removal is important when you decide to defend vs this sizing, but it can be better used to bluff with rather than bluff-catched with.
Because the call EV of AQo is much less than AQs so even though AQs had a higher 4-bet EV than AQo, it has a lower 4-bet EV relative to CALL than AQo does.
I just finish from the ground up. Very good work/way of teaching!
I think because of you i make a big step forward and like you say in the last video I am now ready for high stacks game ;)
I will probably have a look at your book because more i step up in poker more i understand how much is jedi stuff important for your winrate (understanding variance/probability "the less probable is still possible/have to come and you have to accept it"; and cognitive bias like make fuck call because you want win the hand and not because you think its a good call etc etc etc)
About A3s hand at 15:30. IP dose not have enough bluffs otr. He is bluffing with Q-high hands and those hands have some SDV, so OOP is trying to make indifferent those kind of hands between checking and betting.

Thanks! They’re from a preflop solver with rake input for 100NL Zoom. People tend to use rakeless ranges for lower stakes which is very inaccurate.
Will The book be available in paperback?
No plans for this at the moment, but we could discuss it if there's sufficient interest.
Cheers Peter, which preflop-Solver would you recommend?
Ps: nice vid as always,

Some random speculations on Ah3h hand.

Yeah I think this is true of a lot of over-bet spots vs pool. If I wasn't in GTO mode, I'd probably end up betting 75% pot.
Why does the preflop solver recommend 4betting AQo at full frequency and not AQs?
Because the call EV of AQo is much less than AQs so even though AQs had a higher 4-bet EV than AQo, it has a lower 4-bet EV relative to CALL than AQo does.
Peter Clarke on 44:40 MP v BTN 3B range no has 67s,78s,89s and 9Ts,TJs in low freq. MP fold them to 3bet or not open them at all ?
A bit of both
Hey man - curious to read the book is it available to download as a PDF or just as a real life book ?
Thank you for your work! Is it possible to get your ranges for NL100 (buy it or smthg?)
Nice vid Peter

Thanks a lot for your job !!!
AJss you said no solid player would use half pot turn and river. Why and what sizing would be better for turn and river
PIO solves in chips. What does that mean exactly? What dollar amount is a chip?
Do you usually only use rake when running preflop sims? Or just all the time?

Hi Peter, where can i learn how to use PIO ? any good recommodation? Thanks!
