Peter Clarke takes a look at a recorded session battling it out at $200NL and finds himself in an inordinate amount of 4bet pots making this the theme for the video and delving into ranges that make up these scenarios at these stakes.

Great video as usual. At the 33 min mark you over bet AA on the river. What bluffing candidates are you balancing this with in a 3way pot that bets flop, checks turn, and over bets river? I would assume most of your bluffing candidates check the flop because of the cold call from the button leads to a value heavy flop cbetting range when sandwiched here.

Is this more of an exploitative spot because pool rarely has flush? Thanks for your time. I struggle to find good bluffing candidates in multi way pots. I think I am a little value heavy in these situations.

That was a value betting Clinic! Really enjoyed this video and overall, these post session reviews. I was hoping to find some answers on what to do with AK when you miss the board after 3betting and c-betting the flop and having no equity on the turn.

Maybe AK should barrel turn? I feel our hand is face up as a lot of over pairs will XR turn, which caps our range going to the river. Maybe RNG 75-100 to XC over pairs to protect your AK hands on the turn? Would be a good video on how to play AK when you don’t hit.

Not sure how many AK combos have to continue in a 3BP. I am thinking for the RNG 0-25 fire 2nd barrel? 26-75 XC? 76-100 XF?

Thanks in advance for any feed back.

JJ is an odd one - I dont think he "should" be jamming KQ on river, as what is calling thats worst? seems like KQ might be too thin on that runout. That being said, if it is being 3 barrelled in practice then makes JJ much better call.

29:00 AKo 4bet pot
As you said earlier in the video you play cbet range or check range in 4bet pots, I think this one could be a check range board. His range is wrapped around J and 8 very much, probably close to 0% FE on the flop, like all the KQs, Jx, pockets, gutshots, 98s are calling, and our range missed hard on this board, AK, AQo will be huge part of my 4bet range in these positions. If we play some low cbet freq on this board like 40-50%, then our hand prolly go into cbet, and i would assume can jam the turn to make his TT, 89s maybe even Jx indifferent to calling.

25:00 44 In the SRP BB vs CO you said you are checking range IP, which range BB defend pre that it makes you want to check range? Is it kind of simplification? Never heard about that and would be interesting to dive deeper in this spot.

Great video btw, a lot of interesting spots and concepts. Gl in New year!
