One thing that could be relevant to point out is the distinction between BTN playing vs BB overcall and a SB overcall. The BB's range is so weak that BTN has an incentive to bet wide and attack it, but SB range is much stronger and can often rationalize donk betting for some small sizes. I imagine the pool significantly under-donks SB here after flatting, so BTN should be more cautious.
Perhaps another video could contrast SB flats to BB flats, and how that changes the way ranges play. Also, in addition to 30% pot stabs / donks, it could be interesting to look into 1bb and 20% donk bets as well.
Regarding SB play, for sure it would be a very interesting next step. Especially on lower stakes I'd assume the vast majority of regs won't ever have a flatting range from the SB tho, which was one of the reasons to prioritize the ''vs BB'' spots.
But I already have quite a few trees ran for IP vs SB vs BB, and indeed we see a lot of those leads that you mentioned.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Pedro,
Great video. Really enjoy the multiway pot videos you have made. Don't see a lot of this type of videos out there, so it is interesting. Look forward to seeing more from you.
Pedro,
In the situations where UTG is raising middle pair with backdoor draws as the "bluff" portion of the raising range, are we generally only barreling turn when we pick up additional equity when called by btn or bb? Interesting spot when you have the board you gave (J82r) and you xr and get called by one or both players and you have one of the "bluff" hands. Are either of the villains (btn or bb) raising back very often or are they just calling the xr? Seems like very different turn strategy from utg after xr flop when villains are mostly calling verses reraising at a decent frequency. Interested in what turn strategies look like (which affects river play as well).
Hey 777TripSevens777
In terms of turn strategy after raising flop, we could do a whole separate video only on that, so don't think we could cover the heuristics in a single coment sadly.
It will be quite dependant on a couple of factors (how many players called the XR ; are we playing turn against the BTN or the BB ; exact board texture and runout ; how much sdv our 2nd pair has vs villain's range on this specific situation ; etc...)
But having a clear vision over the flop dynamics, and then playing turns based on your interpretation of the range x range interaction on that specific spot, is already a great first step

Great video, Pedro. Nice use of Rocket Solver. :)

Thanks Matt, learned from one of the best :)

Thanks for the shoutout!!
Very well done video. The comparison to hu play was especially helpful.
Thanks!

Regarding the response vs check-raise, both players will rarely have any 3bets on the flop
Wow interesting spot, crazy how much our range changes with additional player in pot. You did good job visualizing this with program!
Thanks Dddogkillah , glad you found it useful
